One of the worst experience I ever had in Paris!
Usually I wouldn't post a negative review because I know that reviews can affect the business nowadays...but it was so bad and I felt the experience was a complete rip off!
First of all, there was no service. We had sat down for 5 minutes and were completely ignored. Nobody bothered to come and greet. Then after we made the order, the table was very wobbly. The head waiter just stuffed in a piece of napkin under the table then walked away without saying a word. And the table was still wobbly so we had to DIY hahaha. I have never experienced a rude service in a Japanese Japanese restaurant like this before.
Then let's talk about the food. We had ordered cold soba with mixed tempura, unagi sushi and a few other things. The unagi sushi is 18 euros for 4 pieces and what we got was: the restaurant had cut half of a one-piece sushi, therefore for the value of 18 euros, you only get 4 half prices of sushi. Exactly one bite for 4.5 euros and the unagi tastes of nothing.
The mochi was also a joke. I ordered it only because the menu said it was home made. It looked nothing like the picture they posted. It was a very small piece of mochi, cut in half again and they charged you 10 euros for it. Unreal!
The bill was 227 euros and nothing was good. I felt so sorry because I took my husband there. Biggest mistake.
I had wasted money and time and wished nobody could have the same...

Not using Japanese rice but some cheap smaller grain replacement. The Tuna tartar is normally mixed with freshly cut chives. Those were stale. The mixture must have been sitting in the fridge way too long. Tempura was good. But hey at 32€ or so I would expect that. Service was distant and very un-Japanese. E.g. when leaving, nobody even cared to respond to our goodbye even though we had been discreet and spending a good amount of money. The recollection I have from any Japanese restaurant in that price level or lower is that restaurant people say at least goodbye and sometimes walk you to the exit.
So. No I'm not going to return...
Read moreIt’s our favorite Japanese Restaurant in whole Europe! We made reservation with ten days advance notice and arrived directly from the airport to dine in. Their flavors are just amazing. I don’t know where and how they are getting their salmon and tuna but it’s the freshness and richest flavor fish I was able to taste outside of Japan. That flavor and the freshness is the key to the “waw” factor whether in tartare, sashimi, or nigiri. Had also delicious mixed tempura and cod. Miso Cod was on an overdone side as it was served in 4 small pieces instead of one, making the edges dry, but the nice flavor compensated for it. Service is very pleasant.
The only thing I would suggest to the owners is to update the furniture in the patio and bring some modern Japanese art on the walls. The place is too sterile and does not...
