Zaeka — Restaurant in Paris

Went with the family after visiting Montparnasse Tower. Zaeka is right across the street from the tourist exit. Really delicious, quick, halal food!

We got our wraps and chicken wings pretty quick. The food was amazing and the portion size was larger than expected for the price. Their cheese naan was so soft and very tasty. we pretty much exclusively ordered chicken wraps and biryani, which was wellflavored. One thing that stuck out to show their standards was that the sauces in the wrap didn’t drip out of the foil wrapping, unlike most wrap places I’ve been to. There was just enough to make the meal delicious but also well/double wrapped so that the sauces stayed in the wrapper.

Our “server”, Sarkar, was very helpful in explaining dishes and patient with us figuring out our order. I put that in quotes because Zaeka has more of a “order at the register” feel but he told us to sit and came to the table anyway. What we didn’t finish, we packed to take back with us. We were searching for a restaurant to get some food for our "lunch" at 5pm. I was like, really starving 😣. Luckily we found zaeka, the food was really nice, the wrap was very tasty and hot(I mean temperature) , especially the Nam, ohhh it was great! My mum loved it. They heard that we must leave soon, so they've made everything very quickly. And thanks to that young waiter, you made my day 😉. I know the environment wasn't the best, but on our European tour we've seen a lot. 5 stars from me for the food...

When I walked by this place I was not sure about the food as it looked just like a fast food place selling lots of fried chicken but I decided to trust the positive reviews of indian and nepali cuisine and give it a chance. I must say my friends and I loved everything we ordered. I was craving for a plate of authentic momos and chilli chicken and I got exactly what I wanted. The chef is a sweet and friendly guy who even treated us with a plate of hot pakodas for free. I definitely recommend...
