WARNING BEWARE OF GENEROUS REVIEWS. They are most likely related to the owner or under duress. No way could this "restaurant" get a 4. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PARTNER TO THIS RESTAURANT , IT WILL LOOK SO BAD AND YOU'LL BOTH BE BLOATED AND FEEL SICK HALF WAY THROUGH MEAL. The pizza had a soggy base as it wasn't given enough time to de-frost. Almost could taste the flavour of the freezer. Seafood linguine came out quickly as their microwave zapped it up. It was so lacklustre, worse than any of the leftovers I've reheated. The texture of the linguine was definitely not Al Dente. It was so soft a grandma with no teeth could swallow it. Seafood , put simply was crap. Even the complimentary bread was hard as a pebble from the Tyrrhenian Sea. You could possibly injure someone if you threw that bread in their face. I forced myself to eat this cafeteria quality food but just couldn't so I dismissed the remaining of the leftover. The waitress came and asked if everything was okay and of course it was far under okay. Okay is McDonalds. This is the more expensive , Italian version of Quick. The manager came over and again asked if everything was okay and I complained about the poor quality of the food but he just stood there with an empty hard expression like the bread. After a while I didn't know which was the bread and who was the manager. Nothing was said only the bill was presented. I would question the calibre of the people who gave this restaurant above 2. My tastebuds are used to dishes worth paying for. This certainly was...
Read moreDefinitely avoid this place. i have been coming here a few times a year for about 7 years now but will no longer. What was once a nice little quaint taste of Italy just adjacent to the Champs-Elysees has slowly degraded to what now appears to be a sports bar. After 8PM, next to the Champs-Elysees, we walked in and were seated promptly. One of the main walls now serves as a projector screen for a TV and suddenly a very loud football game came on. When we complained to the manager, he sat us in a table a little further away while rudely saying "you don't like football?" After 8PM in an Italian restaurant in one of the better districts of Paris? No, certainly not. All of the workers were watching and cheering while the patrons mostly seemed to try to ignore the nuisance. The TV was obviously installed for the manager and his workers and not for the clients. The food was decent, not as good as I remembered. I'm sad to say goodbye to Ziti, but I can cook pasta and eat in front of the TV at home without a rude manager making snide comments. So many places to eat in Paris, why...
Read moreThis store is very disorganized. First I made a reservation for a table and then after I was seated and ordered the service man switched my table because of a table sharing issue with another guest. That's all forget about it, they didn't transfer my order under the new table number. I waited for a long time without knowing what was going on. At this point a waiter came up to me and asked if I needed to order. Holy crap, so I wasted so much time waiting for mojo. After re-ordering there was another long wait for the food to be served one after another. When the checkout finally came we had no energy left to wait for dessert and opted to cancel. The interesting part of the checkout was the long wait Again. I even suspect that this store discriminates against foreigners hence the slowness. Not recommended if you care about the...
