I visited this place yesterday with my husband based on someone’s recommendation. I was aware that restaurants near the Champs-Élysées are often tourist traps with poor service and overpriced menus, but I assumed that in Paris, there would at least be a basic standard for taste and food quality. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

My husband ordered the striploin steak with French fries, asking for the steak to be cooked medium-well. It arrived rare, and despite being undercooked, the meat was tough and difficult to chew. The French fries were unremarkable, but the worst dish by far was the quenelle Nantua. It tasted spoiled, as if it was no longer fresh, and the presentation was appalling it looked so unappetizing it reminded me of vomit.

When I complained, the waiter agreed to change my order, which I appreciated, but by then I had lost my appetite. I opted for a chèvre chaud salad, hoping for something simple, but it was yet another disappointment. The salad lacked freshness, was drenched in an overwhelming amount of sauce, and felt more like cafeteria food than a proper dish. As I’m pregnant, I was especially cautious and ended up avoiding most of it, fearing it wasn’t safe to eat.

Overall, this was a terrible experience, and I will not be returning to this restaurant. If you’re looking for fresh, high-quality, traditional French food, I strongly recommend avoiding the touristy spots near the...

We picked this place based on reviews for restaurants with a decent price near the Tour Eiffel, as we had late night tickets. When we arrived around 8:45PM the place was crowded and we didn't have a reservation (all other places in this area were crowded as well, make sure you plan accordingly and make a reservation). Luckily a large table outdoors was just leaving and it had enough space for the 5 of us. The host (looked like the manager) was cordial and he seated us pretty quick. They took some time to take our order (they seem to have only one waiter 🤔) and because it was crowded we were concerned food was going to take too long and we were going to miss the reservations for the tower, but quite the opposite. Our order was out in just 10-15 minutes after placing it. We ordered the Confit Canard (Duck) and the Boeuf Bourguignon, both were good but I would say the duck was much better than the beef (my wife liked it a lot). Although the bill includes the service in most restaurants in Paris, the server at the end (cordially) asked if we wanted to leave a tip. Since they gave us a table pretty quick and food came out fast, we did tip them accordingly (I would say no more than 10% is totally fine in this city but don't feel obligated especially if the service is not up to your expectations). By the way, this place do take reservations via Google but they were only available for...

I have quite a lot to say…first of all the french onion soup was nice; it had a flavourful saltiness which was very pleasant overall and a generous amount of cheese! Although the boeuf bourgignon could use some more improvements in terms of flavour wise. I believe that this dish should be seasoned a bit more in terms of the beef which I found very strong scented and have a wider range of veggies perhaps some carrots and celery? Another point I would like to make was the steak we ordered was quite tough and wasn’t exactly how I would have liked my steak to be cooked (requested medium rare but ended up getting more over cooked- didn’t bother to request another steak to be made as service was quite slow) so I believe that as a team you should work out the techniques on cooking and seasoning the steak well enough for the customers to pleasantly enjoy! The service quality was meh… honestly they were just doing their job but a smile would have been nice 😊 but the time it took for the food to come out of the kitchen was quite long so I wondered why it took that long to bring out food that wasn’t the quality of taste we expected since if you took long the quality should present better? Overall it was ok but I hope you take my advice and discuss as a team on how to improve on making the restaurant a more enjoyable...

This is my worst memory during my birthday trip to France. When we arrived at the restaurant and ordered, the waiter, a middle-aged man, never really listened to what we wanted. He was impatient throughout the ordering process. After we finished the onion soup and foie gras on bread, I started to feel a bit full. So, my boyfriend asked the waiter if we could take away the duck breast and truffle pasta if we couldn't finish it. He didn't really listen and just casually said 'okay' before quickly turning away to serve someone else. Later, when the dishes came, they were already packed for takeaway, but we had wanted to eat them hot. So, we asked him for cutlery, and it was as if we broke a law! He said, 'Didn't you want it to-go?' and then threw everything onto the table?? He clearly wasn’t paying attention to what we needed and then had the nerve to act rude? It's honestly hilarious. Such poor service – even McDonald's would have been better. Aside from the foie gras, the duck breast and pasta weren’t even good; they were just average. One more thing, if this waiter was the owner, and you really don’t want to serve customers or non-locals, you could have told us before we ordered and paid. We wouldn’t have bothered dining at your restaurant. There’s no need to treat us this way after we’ve paid.
