Cartier — Local services in Paris

Let me start by saying I am a Cartier fan. Both my engagement and wedding rings are Cartier. 8 years later people still comment on how beautiful and sparkling my ring is. I have always loved the jewelry since I was a little girl and my experiences at many of the stores around the world have been a magical and wonderful experience. They clean my ring every time and often offer me a beverage. at a store in Boston they once let me try a ring on every finger and made me feel like family while I waited for my ring to be cleaned. Sadly I couldn't make it to the flagship store in Paris, however I did make it to the Champs'Elysees store. I was sadly disappointed by my experience. The staff was cold and seemed like they wanted to get me out of the store as quickly as possible. When I asked them about ring cleaning I was laughed at because the person who normally cleans the rings was out for July holidays. (The sales associate let me know that I should have known that before asking in France). I love my rings and have had too many good Cartier experiences to stop being a customer. Our experience at this boutique was truly pleasant from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were kindly greeted by a gentleman who opened the automatic door for us. The waiting time was very short, and soon after, a young man welcomed us and offered us water while we waited for our appointment.

Laura, who assisted us, was wonderful, she helped us choose the Love ring we had been looking for and kindly explained that the engraving machine was temporarily out of service. She directed us to the nearest store where we could complete the engraving, which was very helpful.

The whole atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and I never felt rushed. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and professional. I also appreciated the gentleman from the perfume section, who took the time to discuss a fragrance I tried, explained its notes, and mentioned the current offer.

We arrived about close to 5pm. There was 1 person ahead of us. So we waiting in the queue. We were ushered in and were greeted promptly.

They have extra security with double doors. Discreet but low key.

Told them we were interested in woman’s timepieces. The woman who helped us was very polite and showed us the women’s Cartier tank, as the metal timepiece was called.

She also showed us another silver tank but that was too bulky.

Once we chose our watch. She measured and adjusted the band to fit my wife’s wrist.

She also explained how to swap the band if we wanted to get the leather band in the future. Lots of attention and care.

The service was friendly even though we were in our travel outfits.

They offered us champagne and I gladly accepted. Cheers!
