Was very excited to visit this restaurant because of the positive reviews written for the same restaurant but location somewhere else in Paris. I thought they would be the same, however, it made me very disappointed. I will definitely not give it another try even though the price is good value for money due to the large portion of food, great and efficient location.
The service is poor. One of the staff was very rude, she kept yelling "not enough" and forcing us to make decisions and order in a very short time, I feel like she even wanna make us order what she wanna us to have, which makes me very confused as I always think I should have the right to choose what I would like to have as a customer. For example, I decided to order 2 plates to be share by 3 people, which is supposed to be feasible as mentioned by the other bloggers and reviewers. However, we were not allowed to do so on that day. Thus we needed to order more than we could finish and wasted a lot in the end. Even though we respected the culture and rules in the restaurant and ordered 3 plates to fulfil the requirement of the restaurant, the staff still complained loudly to her colleague in French just in front of us as she thought we did not understand so that she could talk freely, in which I felt like being disrespected and discriminated.
The quality of food is just average. The seafood is not fresh at all, the shrimps were fine but the mussels were terrible, not very clean and with bad smell...
Read moreAffordable nice restaurant! We arrived on a Thursday around 6pm and queued for 5 minutes as you cannot make a reservation.
We were seated upstairs but by the walkway which was fine as this was the only table that could accommodate for 3 people!
We ordered the food and were not advised that we may be ordering too much food there was a lot of sides with what we ordered. 2x chips and seafood rice too but we would have rather been told that this was too much and not wasted the food although we did take it home.
The lobster was amazing and prawns so so yummy!
The steak and tiger prawns were cooked nicely but did not come with any sauce so was a little dry. Luckily we dipped it into the sauce from the prawns.
Overall the food came out quickly but the service was slow but to be expected with how busy the restaurant was vs how many groups of people were constantly arriving,
Bruna was a lovely waitress very welcoming and polite we had a lovely chat with her. Some of the other staff were hard to get their attention but their mind was probably all over the place to try and serve everyone else so as a waitress myself this was not an issue.
The mango caipirinha with alcohol added was very very strong it took me a while to drink it 😅 but it was still nice definitely worth purchasing.
I would definitely return now I know how much roughly to order the seafood...
