Ô Baozi — Restaurant in Strasbourg

Went here with lot of expectation since I heard about it from my colleagues, and I am so happy to see that they completely met my expectations. I tried a vegan box which contains all 4 types of vegan options they have. The taste is so good. It is a perfect balance of flavors from the ingredients which contains shitake mushrooms, Aubergine, seaweed, tofu etc. I just have a small suggestion, that the spice levels can be a bit higher to give even more flavors. :-) But I do understand that many people might not be able to take a strong spice. I am an American who visits Germany to visit family & tries to fit in a Strasbourg day trip when I can. I do not speak any French, but English, German, Spanish. We do not have any Bao in our part of NY.

1. The food was fantastic. High quality, great ingredients. A good selection.

2. The service was even more impressive. The woman who worked the counter was INCREDIBLY and genuinely friendly and helpful. Her English was impeccable, and German just as impressive. I wish her all the best.

When I went there I was a bit apprehensive because I had only had baozi once and it had tasted kinda yeasty, but this was nothing like that. There is a vast choice in my opinion for such a small place and it was so tasty and filling! 4is definitely enough to keep you satiated even if you have a big appetite. The highlight of this place though is definitely the seller/owner? She is so so sweet and kind and definitely makes tou want to come back.
