In the heart of Europe, Strasbourg. The history of Strasbourg and the importance of the city continues since 12 BC as a Roman Camp on the river Rhine. If you see the History on Wikipedia then we are currently surprised that it is a calm and international city with partly a UNESCO world heritage. Why to visit Strasbourg, it is the peaceful and calm version of Paris. A very good infrastructure and easy connections to Germany, Benelux, and Switzerland. The architecture, the open space, clean and well maintained for a European city, wonderful parks and a great varsity of modern and historical museums. Restaurants, plenty, presumably sufficient and in many types of cuisines. Theathet, art, and the friendly hospitality make this international city the most logical place for most European offices and European institutions and international representation of countries all over the world. Strasbourg's "rich history" and economic evolution is displayed... TripAdvisor has also awarded it the coveted "Certificate of Excellence". It is also one of the most highly rated (by travellers like you and I) attractions in Strasbourg. Definitely worthy of a visit- both to the city as well as this "historical district".
