Brasserie WOW — Restaurant in Strasbourg

First place I ate in Strasbourg, worthy of its name. I really really enjoyed the steak tartare, you could see they followed the original recipe, the meat was cut by hand and they didn’t use any minced meat. The portions were big enough to satisfy a hungry appetite and the ambient around the place was magnificent. The service was quick and welcoming. The quality of the food was great and they had the classical Happy Hour and home brewed beer. Was not dissatisfied or disappointed...

Third time that we follow the rating of the restaurant and one of us is not happy with one of the meals. My partner asked for the plum iberico , very tasty and well prepared. My orecchiette instead were not. The calamari on top were very tasty, they were the only frute di mare from my “oricchieti with frute di mare” dish. The pasta contained still a lot of water from its cooking step and also some diluted tomate sauce (?) which was quite acid…I could not finish...

We went here only because the place was spacious enough to fit our non-french stroller (most of the restaurants in the centre are like 25m2 packed with 20 tables). But we were positively surprised, the service was good, friendly people and delicious food. I had only issue with the chicken meat being a bit raw, but I guess it's the way they make it in France.
