No air conditioning. Lies on the listings. Internet not working all week. The only air conditioning is in the lobby “as it’s a historic building” - hah. The rooms have a Dyson style fan. If it had been hot this week I would have left and gone elsewhere. They clearly know this as they bill your full stay in full on arrival. Thankfully the evenings were okay after 11 with a fan in the window. Otherwise this place has tiny, yet functional rooms, nice beds with those “warm” (read:sweaty) toppers, nice linen, and good coffee and baguettes at breakfast. The rest of the continental breakfast is the cheap end of adequate. Full marks on the eco scale, coffee, tea and water are only in the lobby, just like the air conditioning. Trams run on 2 sides of the hotel. Busses are over the bridge. Location is pretty good transportation wise, if a tad noisy. Staff are all super 👍 quick and professional.

Overall a good hotel in a perfect location if you're visiting Strasbourg during Christmas at it is situated inside the secured zone close to all major city center sites including La Petite France and Kleber Square. The hotel is a good example of the Ibis Style concept, old building but colorful and modern interior. The staff is very friendly and kids were surprised to get small presents at check-in. The breakfast is simple, but fine as for the hotel class. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Just a small note on the parking, it's actually some kind of a shared parking in the building next to the hotel and it's actually quite tiny. Even if everything was ok during the stay, I still have doubts on whatever it was safe to keep the car in that parking.

Overall our experience was nice. We liked the design, the location and the vibe. The breakfast was simple, but for sure was doing the job. The staff were polite. There was a guy in the first day, who was helpful. The lady in the morning was not keen to discuss.

Two point, we didn’t like: Nobody told us that the hotel is under renovation and the lobby wasn’t properly organized. Nobody told us even if we asked about the parking, which we paid. The parking is absolutely SHITTY and this the main reason I am writing this review. I see that some people have damaged their cars. They asked us about the car we were with and we said the model, therefore we thought that it will be a proper parking spot, but NO. The location of the parking is close to the hotel, but the it is on the 2nd floor of an old city building. To get to the 2nd floor, you have to pass through the tiniest tunnel you can imagine and I needed 10 minutes to pass. All walls were 1cm from tbe car and the smallest mistake was gonna cause damage. I recommend it only if you are with a very small car, otherwise better don’t go. It was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had parking my car somewhere and I really am not looking forward to do it. Especially considering that the price of the public parkings...

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was sufficient and the location is good.|We booked in for three nights in August. On arrival there was another guest asking if they could get a move to a different hotel due to the heat in the room, the male receptionist just shrugged his shoulders, said "It's a one hundred year old building, it gets hot, no refunds", though it was notable they have aircon in the reception area. We had a fan in the room which helped circulate the hot air but didn't cool you at all.| |The car park is not to be recommended if you have anything bigger than a Fiat 500, I have a lot of driving experience but driving our SUV up a ramp with a couple of inches to spare with no edge to the ramp, an 18" drop off with virtually no lighting was not something I want to do again.||We had to leave a day early due to a family health emergency at home, when I told the female receptionist we were leaving early and explained the reason why, there was no sympathy, only a gruff "You don't get a refund" comment.| |The rooms are small as are the bathrooms. As stated before, no aircon which means the rooms are uncomfortably hot especially at night, lots of road noise outside makes leaving the windows open a...

In general, we had a nice day in your hotel. The room was OK for the price at the good location. The employees were nice and helpful including the cleaning staff.

A few things I didn’t like at all: The cleanliness of the room. There were even boogers at the door frame of the bathroom and a lots of mold in the shower. The communication about parking: It was stated in the reservation confirmation that the hotel has a parking lot. Upon arrival we were told that we would have had to reserve a parking lot in advance but that was not communicated in any of the emails. As a consequence, we had to accept a higher parking fee and a long walking distance. It is stated that this hotel has a gym. In fact, they only have a corporation with a local gym in 10 minutes walking distance and with very limited access possibilities as you have to make a reservation for a dedicated point in time and only two people at once from the hotel are possible. The hotel was full of maintenance work inside and outside. luckily there was only limited work going on on the weekend, but you could see the renovation equipment everywhere and the view outside the window was covered with...
