My girlfriend and I went there on a Saturday night and although the place was full, one of the waiters offered us a place at the bar, which didn’t make our experience any less pleasant. Starting with the bar, the atmosphere is great and it has this rock pub vibes with a very nice decoration. The staff was very friendly, always responsive, ready to help and even letting us taste the beer beforehand and offering us shots on the house. The food was delicious, we ordered carpaccio with pesto and Parmesan cheese, and a plate of Alsatian delicacies; and when it comes to our orders, we have absolutely nothing to complain about. To drink, we had different beers and even a drink that still gonna be added to the menu “Kneckes on fire”, which was a total banger. Shout out once again to the staff for doing such a hard job and still being able to entertaining the guests. We will recommend to all our friends and we will definitely visit again once we are back in Strasbourg

Salmonella Poisoning Risk ⚠ Ordered the Cordon Bleu, it came out with the majority of the chicken piece pink and undercooked. The atmosphere is the only thing going for it. The waiter that initially serviced our table was nice, and upon outlining the issue with my meal, he understood. However, the manager who was consulted regarding this issue was reluctant to compensate for the potential risk of poisoning me. A fair and reasonable request to have my partners meal taken off the bill became a conflict of words. Don't go here, appalling management that perhaps needs a Health Inspector to review its hygiene and food handling policies..

The bar/restaurant is located not so far from Petite France on Grand Rue. I went there around 11:40, nobody was around, but very friendly and helpful service person. He kindly explained me the lunch menu in English. There were starter (something like small version of tarte flambee on salad), main (pork sautĂ©e with ratatouille) and dessert (rhubarb cake). Everything was very good (all together it costed €15.90). You do not need to order everything. You can skip starter or no need to take dessert. They also have good selection of local beer. I tried two different beers and both of them were very tasty. I enjoyed the place, lunch and drinks!

I don't recommend this place. The bartender was very impolite and I could say rude. I order some food at the counter since I was alone and the place was full. He told me to get a place first. A waitress heard that and said that I could eat at the counter. I told him that but he pretended he did no get it. After 20 min he asked me if I really want to order, I said 'of course' I had already ordered. To conclude, he never order my food, I waited for an hour and nothing. I had to go to another place to eat. But you don't miss much there, I saw him doing the mojitos, awful. He put so much sugar on it, disgusting. Now I got I why people said it was the worst...
