Reviewed evaluation after owners' response.

As soon as I arrived, I asked if there was a table available for three, the response was: "you will have to look for yourself". Looking how busy the place was I was COMPREHENSIVE enough and searched myself and managed to find one in the corner. after a long wait, nobody came to take the order, so I was COMPREHENSIVE enough and went to the waitress to say that we were ready to order it took a while, but finally somebody came. We ordered the drinks and when we started ordering the croissants and pancakes, the waitress said, "I am not sure if there is any croissant left, I will check..." and rushed away, even though I asked her to wait as we would order the pancakes, but she didn't listen, I guess. I was COMPREHENSIVE and gave her the chance to check. The waitress went several times to other tables to pick new orders and didn't come back with an answer. That only happened after several disappointing starring at her. The response came back saying that maybe they would get something in 20 minutes, we were COMPREHENSIVE and decided to keep only the drinks as they had already been ordered. After finalizing the drinks, I saw how busy the employees were I was COMPREHENSIVE enough and left my table to ask for the bill and got the response that somebody would come to the table... nobody came. I was COMPREHENSIVE enough to calculate the bill myself and had to chase one of the employees to give the money so I could leave and find somewhere else to have breakfast.

All the above in a span of 30-40 minutes with a family and kids waiting to have breakfast. So I guess I have been COMPREHENSIVE.

Nothing personal, but I would recommend that, if place is too busy to fulfill everyone's order, either you don't allow more people in, or you solve one's table order before going to the next. Hope you can fix this topic. The place looks cool, but requires a bit of adjustment on the service itself. All the best!

If the place is busy, expect to have a very bad experience. We couldn't order what we wanted as the waitress didn't even had the time to wait for us to finish ordering. She took the order of the drinks and run to another corner leaving us trying to ask for the remainder lf the order. Bad experience and...

After a long time walking in the city of Strasbourg, I came across this restaurant, which at first glance seemed very interesting and worth visiting. Naturally, I was intrigued to eat something at this place. I ordered a steak and along with it came some french fries and some salad. The steak was alright, as well as the fries and I left the establishment with a pretty good impression. That is until I woke up at 3 in the morning, having intense vomiting, followed by diarrhea and other gastrointestinal issues - a whole excruciating hour spent on the toilet. To add fuel to the fire, the following day I had to drive back to Munich in such a disastrous state, stopping every 30 minutes on the side of the highway having to throw up. Needless to say, I ended up having severe food poisoning, lasting three days, only narrowly managing to avoid visiting a hospital, due to the fact that I threw up every single minuscule amount of water I drank or food I ate and my roommates convincing me not to visit one. It’s also important to mention that I’m not allergic to anything that has been stated the steak contains, nor do I have any stomach-related health issues, so it can‘t just be some health problem and given that the steak was the one of the first meals, and basically only larger meal, I had eaten that day removes the possibility of something else causing the living nightmare which I had experienced, for which reason this visit definitely deserved a 1-star rating in my opinion. The fact that I‘ve eaten this type of steak/grilled meat virtually everywhere in Western and Southeastern Europe and me getting food poisoning right in one of France‘s largest cities, at this fairly well-rated restaurant is quite amusing.

A couple friends and I visited strasbourg and decided to grab something to eat here. It was a nice restaurant and was very full. we got a table at the window looking towards the street on the upper level. i ordered the fish and chips and after about half an hour we finally got our food. the server bumped into me multiple times without excusing hisself. once we got the food i started eating and half way through found it to be very crispy. when i flipped the fish over i had seen that the whole side was burnt like charcoal. i became very upset since my meal coast me 14 euros. when i asked the server about this he said theres nothing he can do about it and it came from the kitchen. since the burnt side was laid on the plate and the other side seemed fine i didnt notice this right away. so this place gets a 1 star from me cause the server was very impolite and so was the cook for serving a burnt piece of batter. very...
