WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! FECES IN THE SHOWER DRAIN!

What happened to my friends and me in this hotel was appaling!. First of all, the hotel is extremely expensive for what it offers. The hotel entrance is small and cheezy, and the rooms are extremely small and smelly, fitted with the most horrible furniture (the closet was metalic and looked like it had been taken out of a millitary base and you could not open any of its doors without hearing the worst and loudest squeky sound). There was an unpleasant smell when we entered the room and the toilet room (that is absolutely horrible) stank of urine (it has no window and is no bigger than the toilet). It was horrible. The washroom was also extremely small, I kept bumping into the walls, it was THAT small. The worst was, however, yet to come. The shower drain was clogged. We removed the drain cap because we thought maybe that would make the water go down the drain more quickly and that's when we saw the most disgusting thing. Feces and the most appaling filth I had ever seen. In the shower drain!!

It was late (around 11 pm) but we went to the reception and asked for another room (at least to shower that night) but the man at the reception said that the hotel was full. We had to shower like that, I do not have the words to describe the experience. I still have nightmares about it.

We were given a new room the next day. That was ok, it was a 4-person room, a lot bigger, but the washroom and toilet room were the same (small, and stinky in case of the toilet room).

The staff was not friendly at all (expecially the man in the evenings) and they seemed like they were shoveling coal. Not interested at all to be welcoming or anything like that, they looked like they hated their job. We only heard one apology for what...

L'établissement en lui même a du cachet et est idéalement placé dans l'hypercentre de Strasbourg, à 50 mètres de la station de tramway Langstross - Grand Rue.

Le hall de réception et d'accueil est charmant avec une belle ambiance ''contemporaine''.

Les chambres sont correctes et habitables, en revanche, le point faible de cet hôtel est clairement un manque de la part des équipes d'entretien dans le sens du détail.

Je suis très observateur tant sur les points positifs que les points négatifs et cela est me concernant valable dans tous les hôtels que je fréquente, indépendamment de leur classification en étoiles et là, il y a certaines choses à revoir.

J'ai d'abord été hébergé dans la chambre double réservée initialement avec une salle de bain privative.

Tout allait bien jusqu'à ce que je ne découvre l'état de la literie qui semblait être confortable mais étant donné qu'il y avait entre les draps et la couverture / couette des poils pubiens, des cheveux de femme, des tâches ainsi que quelques peluches et au vu du fait que le chauffage s'était arrêté de fonctionner, j'ai malheureusement dû faire une réclamation.

J'ai donc été voir le réceptionniste (qui est très sympathique, souriant, poli et qui s'est donné la peine de trouver une solution sans discuter) et l'on m'a attribué une chambre quadruple au premier étage.

La seconde chambre avait le même souci concernant l'hygiène sûr au moins l'un des trois lits de là chambre mais le chauffage y fonctionnait. Ce qui m'a en revanche interpellé dans cette chambre-ci c'est le sol qui était parsemé de poussières (notamment sous les lits) et les petites particules claires qu'il suffirait d'enlever avec un coup d'aspirateur.

Il y a aussi les lattes des divers lits qui sont cassées à plusieurs endroits et l'état de la douche qui est limite (le carrelage y est jauni, usé avec des fissures, le bac de douche a vu passer ses plus belles années et est défraîchi,...), le placard de la chambre avec la penderie a diverses tâches et soucis...

Il n'y a dans la douche pas non plus de mitigeur et l'on peut donc soit clairement se brûler, soit à contrario avoir une douche glaciale et l'eau chaude met du temps à arriver (il y a deux robinets séparés pour combiner l'eau chaude et l'eau froide et c'est au client de trouver le juste milieu).

Pour terminer, l'hôtel n'est pas du tout accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite et le tarif est acceptable en période normale / creuse au vu de l'emplacement, mais il ne saurait être acceptable en périodes événementielle (un tarif affiché de plus ou moins 200,-€ durant les sessions au Parlement Européen et les Marchés de Noël n'est pas acceptable pour un deux étoiles même en centre-ville au vu des détails soulevés qui ne relèvent toutefois que d'un peu plus de sens du détail et de soin envers le mobilier et les chambres). En période ''haute'' même les hôtels plus luxueux sont accessibles pour ce prix d'un peu plus de 200,-€ par nuit et le choix est donc rapidement fait.

Tarif inacceptable en haute saison (environ 200,-€ voir plus d'affichés dans certaines chambres) Chambres dont l'entretien du mobilier, des installations et le ménage pourraient être améliorés (sens du détail) Hôtel inaccessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite Manque...
