The food is actually very good and well executed. The price is reasonable. However, the service is catastrophic. Fist of all, no health pass check in the middle of covid peak in europe. The waiters do not wear their masks correctly or do not even wear mask at all. We are used to "french-style" slow service but this is a next level. The waiter just doesn't care. Maybe because we are asians and seem like some tourists who would never come back whom they can ignore. Meanwhile, we speaks french really well, I can't even imagine how they will treat non-french-speaking guests. The waiter just focused on some tables, didn't serve in chronological order. He didn't even look around to see if some guests were in need. Just plainly indifference. Here is how the meal went: -it took 10min to get the menu -another 15min to get the "special of the day" menu (needed to ask for it) - 15 more minutes for someone to take our orders. The restaurant was not even half filled at this point. - we asked for water a and the wine menu. - get the wine menu but no water. - 20 more minutes to get the food, ask for water again - we finished the food in 20 minutes, still no water. - waited for 10 min for the waiter to even notice that we are calling for them to clean the table and to order desserts. - ask for a cafe gourmand (a coffee and a assortment of sweet treats) and 3 coffees, asked for water again, told the waiter that we did not get any water since the beginning. The waiter did not even say sorry, raised our emptied wine pitcher and secretly accused us of lying with his eyes. - 15 min later, finally for the water, got the sweets but only 3 coffees. - waited for 20 min and still couldn't pay to get out of here...

I had an extraordinary dining experience in France, where every aspect exceeded my expectations. The location itself was fascinating, providing a charming and captivating ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable meal. The service was exceptional, delivered with a personal touch and genuine warmth that made us feel truly welcome. While there was a bit of a wait for our food, the overall experience more than compensated for this minor inconvenience. Once our dishes arrived, we were treated to a culinary delight. The food was not only delicious but also intriguingly prepared, each dish showcasing tender and succulent ingredients that melted in our mouths. The flavors were well-balanced and thoughtfully composed, making each bite a new adventure. Additionally, we had the pleasure of conversing with a couple at a neighboring table who shared our enthusiasm for the food and service. They, too, found the experience outstanding, which reinforced our positive impressions. Overall, despite the slight delay in the food service, the combination of the enchanting location, personable service, and exquisite cuisine made this a dining experience to remember. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable meal in France.

ON A BIEN DEMANDÉ DÈS NOTRE ARRIVÉE.

I have never had such atrocious service in my entire life. Dinner [the food part] was lovely with some very good food, however, to be ignored for 30 minutes after you are done eating is unacceptable. No plate clearing, no would you like desert – nothing. Even trying to flag down someone seemed useless. I wasn’t rude, I wasn’t obnoxious, I wasn’t demanding. Clearly I didn’t matter because I am a tourist. I am clearly not French and, therefore, I was probably never coming back and I just didn’t matter. I understand that most of the staff’s attention was focused on the table of 20 locals that were seated for a birthday party an hour after we got there [they had two rounds of drinks in the time it took me to get and eat my entrée]. Other tables of people who were, at least French speaking, were also greeted, seated and had had their orders taken and had gotten drinks in the time we were left sitting there. And when I finally got up to get my check, I was again ignored. No one seemed to care. But guess what, I do matter. I am going to make sure everyone I know hears about how rude and unprofessional the people who run this place are. So, I ask you this if you are reading this review, if they don’t care about you, why would you even bother walking in the front door? Maybe you should ignore them - there is a ton of good food with more professional service...
