Discovered this amazing restaurant thanks to a reccomendation from a friend. Word of mouth can never be wrong! Koa Thai has to be the best thai food in Strasbourg. We came back immediately the next day to try more dishes and we hope to be back very often. Green curry: Amazing, very southern-thai and full of flavours of Thailand. I think this one is the must-try dish, it might be a bit spicy for those not used to spice, but they have already toned it down quite a lot so you won't die, I'm sure. Pad thai: All three flavours of pad thai, check! Sweet, sour, salty. They were really generous with the peanuts, which I really appreciate. Pork Knuckle: My absolute favourite Thai dish and Koa Thai is so generous with the meat portions. Highly reccomended, the meat is so tender and flavourful. They even gave pickled vegetable and kailan. How can a restaurant be so generous 🥰 feels like I'm dining at a thai friend's house. The chili is amazing by the way. Love it. Satay rice: The chicken pieces are huge with an abundance of delicious peanut sauce. You will not leave hungry, everything is yummy and the portions are extremely generous! If you have Thai ice tea or thai green tea, you will get 10 stars. That is the only thing missing for me 😚 What am I going to do next time I come back... I only have one stomach but I want to eat everything.

As person with Thai origins its always hard to eat good food in a foreign country. There are often restaurants that interpret Thai food or adapt because of fear that people might not take it. Koa Thai is a true Thai street style experience. The place is hot and some plates for my personal taste gave a bit much sugar....but damn! It's like eating my mom's food. I tried half of the menu and Khao Kha Moo and som tum isann made me forget the fact that I miss my hometown, Bangkok. My friend LOVED all the plates and discovered Thai deserts for the first time.Absolutely a must visit if you are in Strasbourg! Thai smiles, good working people and excellent food with no filters. As we say in Thai: khod aroy!

I visited on a Friday night and went over just after 7pm and all the tables were full, so people must know the food is good. I got an order to go. The chicken was cooked perfectly. I didn't love the broccoli stem and stalks, without any florets. Otherwise, I really liked the dish. I would prefer again if I'm in the area. The service was OK. The staff was very busy getting orders and seemed a bit stressed. But no complaints. I think it's fresh ingredients and it was a good meal. 13€ for the chicken and rice

On était carrément là-dedans. Laissez-moi tranquille.
