BonBon Bar Berlin — Restaurant in Berlin

One star for the interior - nice atmosphere, but that’s about it. Bar tenders seem overwhelmed and they struggle to prepare drinks within 30 minutes. It seems they have to google each recipe on their phones before they can start preparing anything. Which is actually not surprising, as the menu doesn’t tell you what ingredients drinks are made of. So how would the bartenders know either? Drinks are served in tiny portions, glasses are only half full (which not only looks weird but feels like a ripoff). Absolutely absurd prices. Even at the best bars in the world, cocktails rarely get this expensive. And they are just basic cocktails, nothing particularly interesting. I paid 18€ for a tiny Long Island Iced Tea. They have a bottle of 15€ gin on the menu for 140€. It’s honestly just laughable.

Edit: just to clarify, I have no problem paying 20€ for a special, great cocktail. These aren't that. There's a reason BonBon isn't on the list of the best bars in the world like Wax On, Velvet, Truffle Pig, or Buck and Breck who are all doing truly interesting cocktails (for actually less money...

According to Off Track Planet, whatever that is, Bon Bon is one of the top ten strip clubs in the world. It's not. It sucks. They don't even let you see inside the club before you pay your 10 Euro cover, and it's not hard to figure out why once you go inside. It's tiny, filled with meathead douchebags, and just generally a waste of time. I'm not going to waste my time reviewing it, and you shouldn't waste your time going there.
