One of the best Breweries and Restaurants in Berlin, located in the beautiful neighborhood of Nikolaiviertel just next to the river. There is a lovely spacious outdoor area to enjoy the views when the weather is good. They have a variety of speciality brewed beer which come in different sizes and the most famous one is getting the meter long beer, where you get 12 glasses, very suitable for big groups and different events. The brewery inside has a fantastic vibe, you feel like you went back 200 years in time. There is a big menu with all the classic german food, there is something for everyone whether salads, appetizers or main dishes. We got the roasted duck with red cabbage and potatoes, pork schnitzel and german sausages. The duck plate was very delicious and fulfilling, they serve half a duck in the plate, where all the other places I have visited so far only serve a quarter only, and at a very decent price, so this definitely would be my recommendation. The reason for my 4 star review is that I found the service to be slow and the apple pie had a small portion and was overpriced. All in all, it was a very nice experience and I would recommend everyone to give it a try

Decent food, tasty beers and a super location with cozy setup both inside and outside. We tried the Meter beer for the third time in a few years and we still like it. It was just a super weird queuing experience this year as it was super crowded in the summer understandably. We asked the first lady and she straight out said no table for 6. Then we didn't go, we asked a few more waiters and had kinda different answers, went inside and there were two tables. In the end we got a table outside in a very crowded Saturday after switched. We enjoyed it afterward, staff was very friendly then. The meat quality seemed a little less than in 2021, but we still like it.

Honestly, I wasn't going to leave a review at first and was doubting if to come inside or not. But man, I cannot explain how the good the food in this place is, and how friendly is the service. I ordered the first dish and it was HUGEE, cannot explain how big it was, and I usually it a lot and this performed beautifully to my standards. But then I went to ordered desert, and it was amazingg, the mix between the flavours was done in the best way possible. So, my personal recommendation is, if you're coming to Berlin and are going to the museum island, come have lunch, dinner or grab a coffee. (I attach images so you can see)

As we were visiting Berlin so choose this place for drink and dine. As soon as we entered the door, we asked table for 4 to drink. It was quite nice atmosphere and cosy inside as it was freezing out there. Beer was nice but not the best as I was thinking. After some food smell, we decided to dine there as well. As asked if we could dine after drinks, first been refused and then they said let’s see what we can do. So at the end we got another table for dine. Ordered our food and no long the hot food was on table. Food was good and had taste. I would like to mention our host names Ali and Monty who gave us great service.

Poor selection of beer. Staff would rather play on their phones than serve customers. Half a beer sitting behind the bar, under the beer taps for our short 20min visit, looked suspiciously like it could be served to some unsuspecting customer. What I pay for is a freshly poured beer, not one which has been sitting around waiting for a gullible customer. We were not happy here, had one beer +tea, bill came to less than ten euro but we only had card to pay. Had to pay more for the privilege of using a card rather than cash. No notification outside the establishment before entering that this would be the case.

I 've been several times at Georgebraeu but last Monday was a real let down. The waiter which attended my table could barely speak English which ended up in a bit of a trouble when asking which were the soup ingredients and when asking for some water. In addition we were charged 5 EUROS for 2 glasses of TAP WATER. The icing on the cake come when we paid the bill. We were blatantly and awkwardly asked (to put it mildly) to leave a tip. I do think that such a renown restaurant should take care of these not so small details. I don't think I ll go back again.
