Caffe Bar Italia — Restaurant in Berlin

This was a great experience. My son, with whom I was traveling, had seen many pizzas while in Germany and we needed to satisfy the craving. I found this place thanks to Google and we decided to try it. Let me just say this is a very small restaurant, gets busy (because it is so good), and the owner is the waiter so be patient and enjoy the fact that you are in Berlin. One last note on this, the owner is Italian and does not speak great English but again, enjoy the experience.

I would like to start my review by how I was trying to get into my Airbnb and this place was still opened. 11:00 and they were happy to guide me to find the street I was looking for. They are incredibly friendly people and their food is amazing. It’s a little secret place to find. I stayed in the area for 4 nights and they attract lots of Italian customers which is a great sign. Just terrible - waited 50 minutes for a salad only to be told they can’t make it! If we hadn’t asked very politely if it was coming we could have been sat there much longer. But the owner didn’t care, was rude and aggressive which was completely unacceptable. The Waitress did try to say sorry but was shouted at too! We were made to feel it was our fault for ordering it!
