Pane E Vino is located just a few meters from the traffic hub U Eberwalder Strasse and offers guests an Italian-inspired menu consisting of stone-oven pizza and a good selection of pasta dishes. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Outdoor dining is at pavement level, which gives it a southern feel. On arrival the menu was quickly put on the table by a somewhat disinterested member of staff who did not highlight any of the dishes or say anything about the menu. She quickly took the drink order and took the food order at the same time as the drink was served. We chose to order Pizza Salami and Spaghetti Carbonara respectively. The food was served approx. 20 minutes after the order, which is within the range for the type of place. The portion of spaghetti carbonara was presented in a simple Italian way without bread or vegetables - as it should be. However, I missed a bowl of grated parmesan to sprinkle over the pasta. The spaghetti was cooked al-dente and had a nice consistency. The carbonara itself tasted good and seemed to be made with fresh ingredients, personally I would have liked a little more pepper and flavor, but this is subjective and Italians often like it simple. The pizza had an inviting presentation, seemed to be made on homemade dough. Both the cheese, the tomato sauce and the salami seemed to be fresh and of good quality, which made the pizza one of the better pizzas I have eaten in a long time. It took a long time to get attention to pay and the restaurant only accepted cash payment. Card payment was not possible. None of the employees seemed very engaged and I missed both smiles and a closing greeting. The place has a pleasant location and offers good food at a reasonable price. However, more work should now be done on the service provided by the employees. We will be happy to return when the service level has been raised a few notches.

Pizza and prices 5 stars! 3.90€ for a pizza or pasta that’s delicious and generously portioned is a great find. It would be five stars if the staff were nicer and more attentive. I have been here on 3 occasions and have been really disappointed by one particular staff member. He spoke very rudely one day when I was with my family then another time when I went by myself, he called me beautiful, asked me personal questions and stood too close to me when I ordered. I find that to be unprofessional and inappropriate, especially because it made me feel uncomfortable. Another time when I waved him over to order (after having already waited 20 minutes) he said that I can’t order yet and I need to keep waiting because the kitchen is busy. I get waiting for food but waiting to order while he was just chatting to a colleague does not give me pleasant restaurant vibes. I would only recommend coming here if that particular staff member isn’t working and on days weekdays before dinner / after lunch time so the place isn’t too hectic. Otherwise you will be waiting an hour for a meal. If the food was more than 3,90€ then I would consider going elsewhere for a better experience. Sad though because I find the pizzas and lasagne soooo delicious but I simply wouldn’t recommend this place because I don’t want anyone else to feel how I felt going there because of one waiter. The other wait staff are lovely. Just this one person can really ruin one’s appetite.

Y en conjunto, sin ser un tiramisú brutal, fue ideal para acabar la comida y de ahí la puntuación de... 4 years ago i loved this restaurant i used to come here all the time, i even gave it a 5 * review but after the situation from yesterday (on my birthday), first we tried to make a reservation through a call and they said they didnt take reservations, thats odd but ok. On the day, we arrived and my friend said we wanted to have dinner and they said we had to wait, so after 40 min waiting, we asked again and the hostess tell us that no one told them that we were waiting (so the other waiter basically forgot about us and when the hostess asked him he must have lied so he wouldnt admit the mistake and said that we didnt ask him) after this i confronted the waiter and he said "why didnt you reservated through the phone?" Then i said outloud in a tone of a joke that the waiter could ** of* then (because they said they wouldnt take reservations through the phone but now they take? 🤔), and after this she started to be extremly rude, saying that she was gonna call the police and what i was doing was a crime, even insinuating other things like i was being racist to her waiter when this had nothing to do with racism but with incopetence from the service, but she used this argument to give a big show for everyone who was sitting outside...making me look bad. Im gonna change my review to 1 star. Good luck with the business. What she did was...
