Aesthetic Ambiance but Mediocre Taste - My Experience at ChickenBuzz (Tap to Read Full Review)
I recently visited ChickenBuzz, located at Rosenthaler Str. 71 in Berlin, Germany, and while the restaurant boasts an appealing aesthetic and ambiance, I must admit that my culinary experience left much to be desired. As I perused the reviews on Google, I noticed many positive comments, but unfortunately, my personal experience did not align with those sentiments.
To reach ChickenBuzz, you can take advantage of various public transportation options, including trams and buses, depending on your starting point. The restaurant's convenient location ensures easy accessibility for both locals and visitors.
Before my visit, I explored the hype behind ChickenBuzz's, expecting an enticing culinary adventure. However, the reality fell short of my expectations. Regrettably, I must give this establishment a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3-star rating, as the food failed to deliver, it just lacked something.
The flavors of the dishes I sampled were lackluster, and I found them to be disappointingly bland, with a distinct absence of seasoning such as salt. The reliance on sauces to enhance the taste was evident, but not all of them lived up to my expectations. The overall combination of flavors left me perplexed, as it seemed like a fusion of Vietnamese and Korean cuisine, resulting in a rather confusing culinary experience.
While I was somewhat disappointed with the quality of the food, I must acknowledge the appealing aesthetics and interior decor of ChickenBuzz. The ambiance and design were visually pleasing, creating an inviting atmosphere for diners. However, I found the mismatched fusion of Korean fried chicken with Chinese-inspired design elements to be confusing, which detracted from the overall dining experience.
Considering the mediocrity of the food and the conflicting fusion concept, I find it difficult to recommend ChickenBuzz as a top choice for chicken enthusiasts. Although the restaurant has its merits, such as the pleasant ambiance, the culinary aspect is ultimately what matters most, and it left me unimpressed.
If you are seeking a memorable and flavorful chicken dining experience in Berlin, I would suggest exploring other options that align more closely with your expectations. While ChickenBuzz may have its loyal fans, my personal experience leads me to conclude that it falls short of being a standout destination for chicken lovers.
Sorry but I have to be honest with my review. It’s lacking flavors. I didn’t feel so good after eating the food.
Note: This review reflects my personal experience and opinions, and others may have different perspectives. I encourage potential diners to explore a variety of reviews and make their own informed decisions when choosing a dining establishment.

Read morewe were excited to try this new place for the first time. and the impressions are good and...not so good. firstly i think there should be a sign letting the guests know, that you're supposed to find a table yourself and then order at the cashier. so we stood at the entrance for few minutes before the staff noticed and told us how it works. the menu is pretty exciting. after ordering a main dish, a nugget basket and 2 sets of snacks +drinks we sat down. the drinks came immediately, but the snacks+food was not served. after a lot of waiting (while being real hungry..) i decided to go and see what's up, why does it take 25mins to serve edamame and the dumplings at least. i was told it's comming, and then everything was served shortly afterwards. the edamame was obviously steamed for way too long, the pods were mushy, they'd come off along with the beans. the dumplings were almost cold, so was the main dish. the popcorn chicken was alright, the sauces we ordered also tasted good. all in all, we didn't finish the main dish-chicken breast w/ rice and salad. honestly this dish was the most disappointing-low level chinese fast food level. everything else was alright and i think we'll be back eventually to see if they've improved. we saw the beautiful waffle deserts they serve on someone's table nearby, next time will give that a try. so be prepared: if you're hungry, it might take some time and will hopefully fit your...
Read moreI came here on the weekend with my friend, because my coworker recently told me about this place. This place recently opened about a month ago or so. We went on a Sunday around 7 PM, and it was pretty empty around that time. We both ordered 10 pieces each. I got myself the K-Fever (with Korean sauce and supposedly spicy), and the … soy garlic one (I forgot what it was called). The fried chicken, in general was not what I was used to with regards to Korean fried chicken. Usually, the Korean fried chicken that I get is fried slathered with sauce (or was cooked with the sauce). However, it felt like they just put the sauce on top. The K-fever could have been spicier, to be honest. However, I mean, it still hit the spot and it was good.
Also, they played some damn good music. However, a lot of people started to fill in a little bit before 8 PM, and my friend and I had to leave because we couldn’t hear each other afterward.
Would definitely go back for more chicken, and...
