Trattoria Peretti — Restaurant in Berlin

Finished with our escapade after the Berlin Christmas Markets, avoiding the pouring rain more and more, we quickly found an Italian restaurant nearby our location. And it was the best shot we could have taken then. From the very beginning, the staff greeted us with a smile, even though there were five of us, an infant and a dog. It wasn't a problem at all, they just kindly showed us to a table and started serving us. Each of us ordered practically something else, but that was no obstacle for them either. My Crema di pomodoro was divine! I have not eaten such a delicious tomato cream for a long time. Then, after a really short time, each of us had our main course. From Spaghetti Carbonara, Penne con Pollo, Pizze Incredibile and Piccantissima. The portions were our big surprise. They really were big. The pizza was a decent size as well. And their taste and execution reached the level of being made by a real Italian mamma. The dessert was also delucious! We spent a lot of time there, like a real Italian family at dinner, but also talking to the lady who served us. A very nice and helpful woman with whom we exchanged our insights about our cultures. Let me describe you our Dinner :

We came as a Family ( my wife, my son and me ). I forgot something, and had to go pick it up. When I came back, my wife already placed our order . Which included: One Glass of White Wine, one Aperol Spritz, one big bottle of Water, one Tomatoe Soup, one Pizza and Pasta. The Drinks came . The Wine was acid, the Aperol didnt have any taste, it was like water with color, and a lot of ice cubes, The Food was good, the portions could be bit bigger. But when my wife ordered the food, she told, that maybe we will also order Spaghetti Bolognese, but they directly served it, without that we ordered it. When I told this, the waiter became immediately rude and tried to discuss with me in a very unprofessional way. What was funny, since they made the mistake. The one star for the tasty food, but the service was so bad, that we even didnt give any tip in the end. We have the Feeling , that they betray there with amount of alochol In the drinks and the orders....

Pasta restaurant: the location is in a food court street and quite nice area next to aqua doom. The first impression of the restaurant is Italian cousine with pizza, pasta, anti pasta and starters from Italy, all around 10-14 Euro per dish. The staff seemed to be rather stressed and we was forced to shout for attention to order food. During order process was we asked to hurry up. The waiting time for the food was positively rather short, we ordered pizza, salad and pasta. The pizza and pasta was ok, but the salad portion to small, more like the starters. To ask for the bill was we once again forced to shout for attention. And now the poor rating part the waiter was the opposite of service minded and we were rudely asked / ordered to “pronto” during payment. No tip to this place and avoid if you can, poor treatment from one waiter drag...
