Hi to everyone! I really hope that staff, manager or whoever has to read it, sees it, because unfortunately, my boyfriend and I were extremely disappointed in the restaurant’s service! Service: I’d like to start from back. We came to the restaurant, sat down, one waitress even said hi, but then, another one came up and told us that we have to change our sit, cuz this table where we were sitting at that moment was orientated for 4 to 5 people and there were only two of us. Fine, I can totally understand it, although it, it was 9.30 pm, not that much of people, so yeah, there were plenty of free sits. Okay, we changed the place and sadly I don’t have a photo, but it was so so dark there. I mean, we couldn’t even properly read the menu and candle didn’t burn. Literally, 12 or more times different waitresses came across us and still they didn’t come to our table to actually take an order. We tried to show that we are ready different ways, unfortunately, it didn’t help. After 20 minutes, one waiter came up, we immediately asked him if we can change our sit. He was fine with it, we changed a sit and he disappeared:)) In 7 minutes he finally came to us to take an order, we told him what we wanted and yeah, from that moment the most interesting part started. They brought one beer and an apple juice and left. I mean, we had to wait 35 minutes for ONE pizza and 45 minutes for ONE pasta. Is that okay?? We asked a waitress is that okay to wait so long, her answer was “yeah, that’s fine”. Well, for us it’s not fine at all. 1/5. Food: What about food. I put 5/5, food was yummy, delicious pizza and pasts was also good. It wasn’t a wow effect, but tasted good. Especially for me, just delicious food is not worth of my time. (more than hour). Crazy… 5/5. I’d like to mention, that three guys sat at the table that we were asked to leave. They were served, much faster than we were. They actually were already leaving the restaurant, while we were waiting for our food. The atmosphere: Nothing special. Beautiful, but please, ask your staff to at least smile to the visitors :) Thank you. All in all, the message I want to leave, is that fro my perspective, just good food doesn’t worth your time.

Leider meine bisher schlechteste L’Osteria-Erfahrung.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Firstly, we waited a long time to be seated and even though we were first in line, two big groups were seated before us. Once we were finally seated and had ordered our drinks, my husband and I could see and were shocked by how the staff deal with drinks, before they are handed to customers. I watched as my nephew's juice was tested by the bar man because apparently, he couldn't tell what kind of drink he had just poured and then on top of that, when it came to our beers, he used the same technique but with the unusual reason that he drank a bit, so that he could add more beer to create some froth to the overall look. I found this highly disgusting because I don't want someone's spit in my drink. Moving on to the meal, well... We waited at least an hour for the pasta and then after the pasta arrived another 30 minutes for two pizzas and by this point, my friends, family and I had had enough, so we approached one of the waitresses to ask her what was going on. Unfortunately, she was very rude and ignored our questions and concerns. However, the cherry on top of the evening was as we were leaving. Apparently, from this terrible service we were still expected to pay a large tip and when we didn't, the waitress was more than openly bad-mouthing us to the staff. No, we might not speak fluent German but we can at least understand and it's quite unprofessional of you to be talking about us behind our backs because we were literally putting on our coats while you bad-mouthed us right behind us!!!!!!

It's such a shame when this restaurant from a good franchise relies solely on its reputation but provides really one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. I usually don't post a review but the staff didn't seem to take our concerns seriously, so I can only hope they can improve from this for the sake of future customers in your restaurant but trust me on this, we will never be coming...

I would like share my unpleasant experience in Losteria Dresden. As i am frequent guest in Losteria restaurants in Cologne i can see huge different. We/2 person entered almost empty restaurant and we asked for the table for 4 with direct view on the kitchen to watch them how they preparing Pizza and also to have enough space and good atmosphere. Unfortunately waiter dont allowed us to seat /use table for 4 persons even restaurant was almost empty. He argued that the table is for 4 persons only. We get smal mini table No.18 in the corner where is impossible to have two pizza on the table and also i must seat very squeezed as next table chair was taking half of my space. Later we noticed that table which we were asking for was occupied by two German ladies. No reason if they are only two. We are tourist from abroad - we don't deserve. The same was that all other guests get automatically on the table bottle with olive oils and balsamico because they were local. We as tourists must ask. The pizza itself had definitely different ingredients as well. Unfortunately i must make this message to make warning for other future non German guests to be aware how you will be treated. Never again in...
