TOURISTS? DONT GO
We went here twice in a row. It was all good and nice, I would've gave 5 stars for everything, especially the food was very nice, but I'm deducting every points as they were presenting a very un mannered behaviour.
Service on the second day was very nice, however on the first day, when it was very quiet(there were only 3 tables maximum), me and my friend ordered a gin tonic called illusionist, and look at how ridiculous it is. THEY PUT A WHOLE DAM PIECE OF ORANGE PEEL LMAO very hilarious. We didn't realise until the second day when we got the same drink with a whole piece of orange in it. Not only this ridiculous drink, whenever the servers noticed we were asking for orderings or help, they just giggled and went back in the kitchen or whatever. One of them was a lady in pink hair and the other was an old lady. Ridiculous and outraging serving experience served by both. No smile, no greetings, they even rushed as to go out! Staying more than 2 weeks in Europe, definitely the worst that I experienced SHAME ON YOU GUYS
We even ordered more than 100€ and no service got served! Greatly recommend this place but not when these two are around :)) I would've posted a picture of how quiet that day was and the goddam drink if I could.
+haha i just read ur reply and couldn't help but laugh cuz you seemed to not understand a SINGLE thing I stated. Yea, obviously you are not going to say your staffs are racist silly xd. Plus, i wasnt happy about the drink not cuz the orange was damn big, i was not happy because in fact, there was NO orange in it xd there was a damn PEEL in it. Do you get it? Not a single flesh. Literally a peel of the orange haha ask ur staff if she ate the orange lmao its hilarious. Oh and please go ahead and explain me about the behaviour that i mentioned as well. I was at least expecting an acknowledgement of how rude your staffs were, but your reply is far beyond what i expected! Way to go! I guess it's like owner, like staffs! Thank god i can upload the pictures now! Just look at the damn drink and how quiet the store was haha jokes on you guys
sure u think its a waste of ur time so u dont hv to react to each of my edits. I do not think its a waste of my time so imma share to everyone. I'm very confused. Is that the way u make that drink? To put a peel inside? Bc the very next day we went, there was a big WHOLE orange inside served by a really nice staff. I think u dont get what i mean or either u dont know ur drinks. I deleted the racism part cuz u say so. Idc if u wanna keep going to not admit it, but ur staffs were very unprofessional that day and maybe...
Read moreI am giving this a 2 star because so far I really liked and appreciate the food, the ambience and the drinks here, but, unfortunately I faced a situation which I really didn't like and somehow it questions the management.
So this is the second consecutive day (a Saturday night) I go to the Shamrock Restaurant, and I sit there with my boyfriend and a friend and order three drinks to a nice lady who is nice to me so far I have visited. Then comes another lady, with dark hair, fair skin and shorter than the other one and says there is a problem with the system, so order again. I normally trust this bar, so I did. We keep drinking, I saw the first lady coming down with the same order again and going back seeing that we received the order. After a while, comes another younger lady (blonde hair) with the same order again and the first lady who took our order sends her back. WE NEVER TOOK DOUBLE ORDER. Then when we were about to pay, comes the bill double of what I should pay. I said we never had double orders, the lady with dark hair took the order saying there is a problem with the system, but the first lady disagrees. She calls the dark hair lady and suddenly she acts innocent. I was like 😱 And then comes the lady with the blonde hair to prove that I really didn't have that drinks. But the first lady gave me my money back saying, that she knows I drank it. And when I asked her to check the cameras, she says HAPPY EASTER. The younger blonde lady was really nice to us and offered free drinks again next time because she knew that we didn't do anything wrong and she understood the situation. The whole fault was of that shorter dark hair lady who deceived us saying system is faulty and made double order.
I am sorry I always recommended this bar in Dresden. I won't do that anymore. If someone goes there....they should check out with whom they are...
Read moreWe came to this bar on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm. We are from Ireland and were looking forward to checking this place out. When we arrived the bar was half full and there were about 12 empty tables with reserved signs on them. There were 5 of us and we couldnt get a seat anywhere and the staff could see this but noone seemed willing to help. We then tried to get a seat at the bar. No one said hello, no one came near us to serve us, we had to try and ask for service about 4 times. One of the staff behind the bar even said "Jesus Christ" when we asked if we could get served and walked away from us while staring at a phone in their hand. Another staff member claimed they were busy as they stood and slowly sliced some lemons. We were in the bar for about 20 minutes and then gave up and left. I can genuinely say this bar on this particular day had zero hospitality and was quite literally rude and as this was our first ever time in Dresden it was a most unwelcome initial experience of the city. Could not even get a beer after asking several staff several times and was made to feel like we were most unwelcome. Being irish and having travelled most of the world I can genuinely say this is the most unpleasant Irish bar experience I have ever had and I've been to literally 100s in many countries over a period of 30 years. The bar looked nice and we wanted to stay but we were all so disappointed with the horrible welcome and total, seemingly intentional poor service from the staff. Being Irish, I don't think this pub deserves the honour of being labelled an Irish bar. Sorry, but that was my experience and that of my...
