Espresso Perfetto Friedrichstadt — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

The barista is friendly and nice. The coffee was cold. I love coffee but as I am on heart medication, I seldom drink it. It is then so disappointing when I expected a nice hot comforting latte, instead I got this very tepid cup of coffee I wanted to cry from disappointment as I was so looking forward to it. My husband had a hot chocolate and he said it was nice but not very hot as well. What is the problem with serving hot drinks, hot? I would like to add, the coffee was tepid, not even warm drinkable temperature. I did speak to the barrista and more milk was added to the coffee. There is a huge difference between drinkable and tepid, just slightly of being cold temperature. The reason for the review was to voice my dissapointment about a hot drink being cold and after complaining, it was not rectified. The "splainer" answer from the owner, is the attitude of the place. I suppose, only go there if you want...

I have been visiting Espresso Perfetto Cafés regularly in at least five different locations in Düsseldorf for years, so I can say that I am a regular. I like their coffee but what really attracts me is the friendly staff and it being the local shop that I want to support. However, when I went in the shop today due to an emergency and asked if my mom can use the toilets, I was told that it is only for customers and forced me to buy a coffee to use it. This is not the treatment that you expect from your local coffee store that you have been supporting for years. Will have to search for a new one now- they lost one...

I am surprised to see all these positive reviews here. The coffee tasted ok, but not the best. The cakes were all not fresh. I was craving for cannoli, but one could see that the cream in cannolis was already dried out, so we didn't take them. Instead we ordered a sfogliatelle and a piece of banana cake. Both were a disappointment. Banana cake was dry. Sfogliattelle was old - the filling was hard, the dough chewy. The service was friendly though. I wouldn't recommend this place for...
