One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. Issues began with a clueless hostess who had not kept an eye on the reservations and not cleared tables on time for incoming reservations, so we found ourselves waiting for over 15mins as a queue formed out the door with more guest with the same issue. The hostess ran around looking for tables, which is frankly not her job, and the owner was just standing around near the entrance, drinking beer and answering the occasional question the hostess had, feigning to delegate. It wasn't very reassuring that she had to repeatedly ask him for the password for the hosting screen... We already got a sense that staff was untrained as we watched two waitresses loudly discuss a table for two minutes straight as they all scuffled at the one and only cash till. Throughout our stay another queue also formed of people wanting to pay, which caused three waitresses to fight the till at regular intervals. All of this was overshadowed by such obnoxiously loud drum and bass music that was headache inducing within minutes. Likely the bass and treble was turned to maximum and we spotted two ceiling speakers as well as a 1m speaker in close vicinity. Getting our orders in took another 15-20mins and it took ages for drinks to come out, of which the quality was subpar. The tea was mediocre, the beer barely cold and the 'cocktail' almost only consisted of gin. The starters and main courses eventually arrived, all at the same time to our disappointment and there are several complaints about the dishes themselves. The lobster buns were more likely than not surimi and not actual lobster as there wasn't a hint of the flavour and I've have dined enough in reputable establishments to know the taste of lobster... The duck dish was barely still warm, which was only saved by the fact that it was prepared crispy. If there were a championship for most underwhelming and undersized maki sushi, they would definitely win, it was honestly a farce how small they were... Another dish was written to contain burrata but it was nowhere to be found... The usual mistake of wannabe fusion restaurants is also an absurdly large menu, which they are definitely guilty of. Oddly enough we could also get Japanese beer, despite it not being on their menu at all. Lastly, when asking for the bill, from a table clearer as nobody else was available, they promptly printed the bill for the next table over instead... The management is atrocious and staff is not properly trained whatsoever. It felt more like a poor attempt at restaurant simulator than an actual endeavour to serve half-decent food. This place is a joke, and so is the incredibly...

I was really excited to try this place as I'd heard good things. Unfortunately it failed to meet expectations.

The service was appalling, we had to flag someone down anytime we needed anything. We were pressured constantly time wise and at one point we were even told that it was not worth their while staying open for a few clients. We were not the only ones still there. They were very passive aggressive, packing up tables and sighing and muttering around us etc. Just really bad form.

Onto the food. Underwhelming to say the least, just plain bad to say the worst. The beef carpaccio was proper frozen. The meat was literally crunchy and icy. As a result as it thawed it got soggy and laden down with liquid. The "hash brown" was just tragic and needs to be taken off the menu. It was like eating shrimp flavoured cardboard. The lobster bao bun was not a bao bun, and I'm dubious as to whether it was actually lobster or crayfish. It was edible though, so that's something. Overall you got the impression that the menu was too big for the kitchen and instead of doing a few things well, they did many things mediocre or poorly.

The kisakan aperitif was very tasty although for a drink that supposedly has sake, martini and prosecco, it was very weak. I'm dubious as to whether half those things were in there. For that price I expect to feel like I've actually drank some alcohol. I had three and felt nothing. Three glasses of wine and I'd be singing. Very strange.

Overall a very disappointing experience, just grateful for the good company I happened to be with that made the whole experience...

Nice interior, amateurish service, overpriced average food. We liked the modern and nicely done interior. The service was bad - after waiting for service for a long time we finally had to flag somebody to be able to order, and that clearly did not please the waitress. Unfortunately she forgot to ask if I wanted rice with my tuna fish dish (even though she asked my partner) , so the dish came plain with only a couple of veggies on the side. I had wrongly assumed that a 30 EUR dish would automatically be served with rice. The food itself disappointed: the vegetable curry was too cloyingly sweet, the tuna fish overcooked and dry. When we mentioned this to the waiter and then to the manager on the way out, they just shrugged, and said that this was the way it was. No apologies needed from their side. Overpriced for...
