Simply the fact that they had chimichangas was amazing. Food came out quickly. Nachos were ok but were not store-bought (which is a plus). Do not get the chili! Very disappointing. I don't know why everyone in our group including me was a little underwhelmed. The prices were very good! But the food itself provided the bare minimum of what it could've and should've been. Salsa just kind of bland. Mexican food offers such a great opportunity to build and balance out many flavors. But excellent chefs work for excellent money I guess. This place is where you go if you want the cheap option. Maybe I will come back again, but there is too many other good restaurants on the same corner for it to be...

After church visit, we decided to eat something mouth-watering but affordable. So we tried this CHICHILAS TexMex cozy restaurant. The food has the best combination of sweet, salty, piquant, and hot. Has a variety of textures which makes the food appetizing and mouth-watering. I love tacos and quesadillas so, I ordered one and my friends love the burritos, and was really suprised how big and worth the price. It is more than just eating a good meal, it's an experience that brings family and friends together. So, yes! thumbs-up for this! Absolutely scrumptious and affordable. An okay enough place for a quick and easy meal that won't break the bank.

The nachos were nice! Some really crunchy (slightly overcooked) ones - which I love - and a nice, slightly smoky, salsa. I had a vegan burrito and my partner had vegan tacos, both were fairly meh. The fillings were perfectly filling, just lacking in any significant flavour really.

Also they're cash only! They have a cash machine right outside, so that's handy, but it would be good if they also had a "cash only"' sign up...
