We just had dinner there with my husband for the second time and sadly we had a very unpleasant experience with the manager of the restaurant. I ordered a vegan pizza at 14,50 euros which was quite dry with barely no tomato sauce (like the first time I came) and also got served to me without eggplants without any waiter warning me beforehand. When I asked the manager why there wasn’t eggplants, he simply said « we do not have eggplants today». I received an extra tomato sauce, 20 mn after, and it was very cold. When I complained that it was cold the manager asked the chef to cook the sauce. Since no one apologised for the inconvenience we faced, at the cashier we said that the price of the pizza should hence be slightly discounted. He refused and pretended that instead he would not charge the extra tomato sauce of 3,50 euros (that was not charged the previous time I had come) - initially wanting us to pay that pizza at 18 euros. The manager also got rude when we expressed our disappointment of the customer service by saying « Don’t worry I have 11 restaurants », « I have my clients ». In the end we do not recommend this place, such a dry vegan pizza at 18 euros is just...
Read moreI recently dined here and had a mixed experience. The food overall was delightful; the traditional Italian dishes were well-prepared, and the ambiance was cozy.
However, I tried their pinsa for the first time and found it not to my liking. I'm more accustomed to the traditional pizza, and the pinsa's unique texture didn't resonate with my taste preferences.
On a positive note, one of the male servers was exceptionally helpful, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, my experience was dampened by a female waiter who seemed disinterested and, at times, unfriendly. Her behavior, including flirting with male patrons, created an uncomfortable atmosphere and detracted from the overall friendliness of the place.
In summary, while the food was good, the mixed service experience and the difference between pinsa and pizza left me with...
Read moreI ordered carbonara and requested crispy bacon because I don't eat soft, fatty bacon. The waiter ignored my request and assured me I would be satisfied because the dishes are prepared according to the traditional recipe. I received pasta with a large amount of bacon in a form I didn't ask for. I reported this to the waiter, who said, "These are original recipes, and I don't have time to remember what each person requests, so this is how it's served." I expressed that I don't understand what he means by traditional, so I emphasized that I want crispy bacon because I've had it in Italy and know I like it. The waiter replied, "I don't care about Italy - this is the original recipe." Maybe the recipe was original, but the waiter's behavior and attitude were far from Italian hospitality. I don't recommend it... with such service, even the best pasta doesn't stand a chance. Very...
