When we walked in the door, we were greeted by an employee who never said hello and was not friendly.

It was actually our fault, why did we even stayed there to buy ice cream after such a rude greeting?!

When I asked what flavors they had, the polite(!) lady replied that they sell ice cream.

You can clearly see that you sell ice cream inside by the huge ice cream cone in front of the cafe 🙃

Afterwards, the kind (!) lady said, "I don't know what flavors they have, look at the flavors on the side".

Although we bought pistachio ice cream, it tasted bitter and had more almond flavor than pistachio and was tasteless. I threw it away without eating it.

There was a nice crowd in front of the place and they were enjoying their drinks, I think it would be much better if you stop the ice cream business and continue to serve drinks with your unpolite employee.

I always try to write positive reviews, but the attitude of the place was rude in a way I haven't seen in a long time. I wanted to write so that you don't make the same mistake as us and be subjected to...

Outrageous prices for mid (at best) quality. One of those "trendy" places, that always leaves me wondering why people seem to prioritise looks/vibe over quality of food and drinks. And personally, by my standards, also the vibe is tacky and garish and not polished at all. I would say, perhaps ok-ish to get a drink outside on the pavement in summertime... As the spritz was ok. But that's it. I was brought there by friends and I had no expectations as I had not looked at the menu before. I found a single lonely vegetarian item on the menu (which has been always the same for months, judging by the pictures posted by other reviewers here - while the menu in general seems to get updated every once in a while): Fillo rolls with a mishmash of feta, falafel, hummus, sun-dried tomatoes - yes, everything mashed together as a filling! As in one of those terrible tiktok recipe videos only posted for shock value. This was something...

Der Standort ist toll. Der Blick zur Alten Oper ist sensationell. Draußen sitzen, viele Menschen flanieren. Das sind Pluspunkte. Und ja, genau wegen des "tollen" Standortes ist der Laden so beliebt und die Preise fernab von Gut und Böse.

Von Anfang. Die Tische sind winzig. Auch Zweier-Tische sind so eng angeordnet, dass man das Nachbargespräch mithören muss und den Zigarettenrauch stärker inhaliert als der/die Raucher:in selbst. Nun, daran kann man leider nichts ändern.

Die Preise sind - sagen wir - unglaublich. Wie gesagt, das weiß man, wenn man an einen solche Ort geht, denn die Location zahlt man mit und natürlich auch die Begehrlichkeit (die ich übrigens seit dem gestrigen Besuch nicht mehr verstehen kann).

Romanasalat mit eingelegtem Gemüse und Pankohähnchen + Joghurt-Dip für 32 Euro. Also, da erwartet man einen leckeren Salat mit gegrilltem, eingelegtem Gemüse und selbst paniertem Hähnchenfleisch. Was wir bekamen: Klein geschnittenen Romana-Salat mit !!!!Mixed Pickels!!!!!!!! aus dem Glas und industriell gefertigtem paniertem Hähnchen. Das Dressing war ok. Der Joghurt-Dip wurde einfach vergessen und wir waren so entsetzt vom Salat, dass wir das sogar anfangs vergaßen.

Als die Bedienung zu uns kam, um die halbvollen Teller abzuräumen, fragte sie, ob alles ok war. Ich sagte ihr, dass genau das Gegenteil der Fall war. Ich erläuterte mein Entsetzen über Mixed Pickels und billigem Salat für den Preis und auch den fehlenden Dip. Sie war sehr nett und emphatisch. Es tat ihr Leid und sie wusste gar nicht was sie sagen sollte. Ein sehr netter Mensch. Immerhin.

Als Trostpflaster brachte sie uns einen Cheesecake aufs Haus. Das war nett, der Kuchen war auch lecker, aber er macht das negative Erlebnis von vorher nicht wett.

Wenn man gesehen werden will, wenn man sehen will, dafür gerne unverhältnismäßig viel Geld für schlechte Essens-Qualität ausgeben möchte, ist man hier richtig. Ansonsten KEINE Empfehlung von mir. 5 Sterne für die Bedienung. 1 Stern für das Essen (wegen des Cheesecakes) und 2 Sterne für das Ambiente. Der Ausblick und die Umgebung bekommen dann...
