Even Thouh the atmosphere is great , the tuna was amazing , and the guys are working hard , we had a really bad service experience with the owner of the place . We ordered 1 entreee and two sushi dishes as a first course with the intensio to order other dishes later … when the food arrived , the owner has mistaken the order and brought us 1 entree and three sushi dishes , one order was repeated. I called the owner and he told me the he would take away one dish but he told me that there was no more time to order other food because the kitchen was closing ( he didn’t say me anything when he took the first order ). We were very hungry and my son loves sushi so we decided to keep also the wrong dish and we ate it .One of the rolls in the dish had surimi, this was not described in the menu. The owner walked away from the restaurants with 3 dogs which were bumping on the chairs of the narrow restaurant , I love animals but in a sushi place this episode made me thinking….. Anyway we finished all the food wich was good anyway, but the people were still ordering …. And we were forced to ate the wrong dishes with no possibilities to order again…… we asked the waiter to order more and he got us our order …. We felt not great about it , we understand stress in hospitality, but this was really a bad move … costumer should be treated all the same way . we...
Read moreWe spontaneously visited Takahumi Sushi on a Friday evening and were lucky to get a spot. After a short wait, we were seated at the counter, offering a front-row view of the chefs preparing sushi. An experience as captivating to watch as it was delicious to eat! And we even received our sushi directly from the chefs, adding a personal and interactive touch to the experience. The staff is really friendly and attentive. Reservations are highly recommended for this popular spot.
We ordered the Flying Salmon Roll, which was flambéed and full of rich, smoky flavor, and the Rainbow Roll, a beautifully arranged dish with various fresh fish toppings. The edible flowers, fresh herbs, and delicate garnishes added an artistic touch to the presentation, making the dish a feast for both the eyes and the palate. For dessert, we had crispy fried coconut rice balls, served with fresh berries and dusted with powdered sugar - really tasty. We also enjoyed a refreshing rose lemonade, served with berries and mint for a hint of sophistication.
The menu at Takahumi Sushi offers an array of exquisite and creative sushi creations. Just browsing through the menu and their Instagram account is enough to spark ones imagination. On our next visit we want to explore more of their unique offerings. It's truly a must-visit for...
Read moreWe went there for lunch on Saturday. Reservation went very smoothly via Google chat option. Restaurant is small and very cozy. Both counter option and table option. Food is really great and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, we experienced very very incompetent waitress. We are foreigners living here but we were ordering in German so I believe language shouldn’t be a problem.
There were four of us, one person didn’t get a meal almost for an hour and everybody else finished already theirs and other two didn’t get half of the meals ordered. We asked couple of time what is going on but there was very insecure reply that there is shortage of staff in the kitchen. I am closer to believe lady was just forgetting our meals and didn’t even order them.
For the end we ordered rice balls as a desert, she said ok went to the kitchen and nothing. We called another waiter who double checked and told us that desert is not even ordered in the kitchen at all.
Waiter was very nice and fully understood situation, we got desert for free at the end. On the bill there were meals that we didn’t order but after we complained they removed them.
Pity for such a bad service as food is great. We will try it...
