Whisper Frankfurt — Restaurant in Frankfurt

Not at all friendly to international visitors. Especially the door staff, who are exceptionally rude, and seem to make up the rules. Not sure why?! I was allowed to enter but witnessed many others that were refused to enter due to various made up reasons....'fully booked', 'guest list only'...then to only see others rolling in through the doors, mostly seemingly either known or attractively catching the eye of the door staff. My all time favorite bar in Frankfurt, great selection of bourbons, great for business drinks after dinner as well as a cigar which they are keeping in a large humidor. The ventilation is very good so you don't smell like an ashtray when leaving. Bartenders are very well trained and knowledeable. Prices are slightly higher than average of this type of bars. There is a dress code - smart casual+ which means no shorts basically. Sometimes the atmosphere is great with live dj, sometimes it is dead...

We came into Mandala on a Wednesday night and this place is a whole vibe. Our waiter named Okay is the best, he was very friendly and nice and recommended us some great drinks and brought us some snacks. Okay has great customer service and we will be coming back.
