BRICKS Bar — Restaurant in Hamburg

We had a reservation for later in the evening, sadly the outdoor terrace was closed, usually during the summer days it’s opened though (unless the weather is poor). Most seating outside are right beside the river with a fantastic view of the Charles bridge and the city centre of Prague. The staff were extremely kind, efficient and checked on us regularly. Only reason I cannot quite give the full marks (at this point I would give the 9.9/10) is the food; it’s really not bad at all, but looking at the prices, just about what you’d expect, nothing more nor less. The Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection, the truffle Linguini as well, the Papardelle though was just a touch too aldente and the Cotoletta Milanese a little bit too dry. The food is really not bad at all but just not the best for the money, nevertheless I can really recommend this place. The portions (some main dishes should require an extra side dish) are fairly pleasing, though to add an appetiser is what I’d recommend, the mashed potatoes are, as I want to add, quite literally what they say they are, they are not bad at all, just not quite what you might expect when you order it. Overall this restaurant has been really pleasing, the only reason I have not given it full marks is because of the food, not that it would be bad, just not quite up there with the best, I’ll make sure to come back...

Best Hotel/Restaurant/Bar staff in Hamburg. Knowledge of alchemy is amazing. Also tje chefs are nothing less than perfect. Will make you whatever you desire if available to make. Have hade many tester nights when Toby, Paula, or Miguel thought of their own mix of madness or pure geniuses. They treat you like family. Thursdays is live music after worm from 18uhr to 20uhr various musicians set the mood. This is my companies preferred hotel and we have not been disappointed at all. The manager Uwa is great as well. Best cocktail Bar around the corner. The Barkeeper rocked our evening with wonderful mixes. Anil is a great guy, friendly, professional and accommodates your needs accordingly with the spirits.
