CHANEL — Local services in Hamburg

My wife and I just visited this store and plan to purchase couple purses, we were approached by a sales name LISA, she was not friendly from very beginning and kind of rude in conversation during showing. I asked Lisa, we don’t feel you are happy to assist us, if you are not in good mood, you can find other sales to help us. She found a guy name Frank to come and asked us if we speak mandarin? We speak perfect English from California, not sure why he asked that?? In fact, this guy is a cashier, not sure how a cashier can help us? Lisa only showed us few purses on the counter for few minutes, and took those purses back to cabinet before we decide which to purchase. I was observing that maybe this is normal German Chanel Attitude? ? Or that's her but she did not mean that. I ask for their store manager, they said there is no manager on duty??

I have been to many Chanel stores all around the world and this one is the absolute worst. The staff is awful. What is the problem with luxury shop assistants in Hamburg? It's so unpleasant - it traumatized me. Chanel in Berlin was better than this branch. If I could buy it online, I would, so I don't have to deal with their awful, obnoxious SAs. After my visit, I wrote to complain, but their service center sent me back an ignorant, unhelpful email. The Chanel I used to know 15 years ago is gone. It's nasty. I prefer to shop Chanel in Asia, where at least the SAs are professional...

Der Service ist unter allen Erwartungen. Beim Kauf von Ware lässt einen das Personal schlecht und arm fühlen. Ich musste mittlerweile wegen einem Artikel schon 4 mal extra in die Stadt fahren. Davon musste ich 3 mal vor der Tür warten, weil alle Mitarbeiter in einem Gespräch waren. 2 mal davon war es kalt und hat geregnet. Hier hätte ich jetzt Kundenfreundlichkeit das erste Mal erwartet und dass die Kunden in der Filiale warten dürften. Aber das Wort kennt die Filiale nicht. Leider sind bei dem Ohrring schon nach kurzer Zeit die Steine abgefallen. Heute wollte ich die reparierten Ohringe abholen, aber die Mitarbeiterin wollte mir diese nicht aushändigen, weil oben auf der Reklamation meine Frau stand. Das ist nicht nachvollziehbar, da ich die Ohringe persönlich gekauft und persönlich reklamiert habe. Auf allen Belegen ist meine Unterschrift und die Benachrichtigung ging auch an meine Mail-Adresse. Nachdem ich mich aufgeregt habe, händigte Sie mir die Ohringe zwar aus, aber hielt mir noch einen Vortrag und unterstellte mir, dass ich ja gerade betrügen. Es gab keine Entschuldigung für die schlechte Qualität bei so einem teuren Produkt, keine Entschuldigung für meinen Aufwand und vor allem nicht für Ihr Verhalten. Ich kann diese Filiale nicht weiterempfehlen und würde eher bei den Nachbarn etwas kaufen. Da wird Kundenfreundlichkeit größer geschrieben. Auf jedenfalls ist das meine Erfahrung.
