If you're wandering around Hamburg and your stomach starts making polite threats, KÖRRI is a decent pit stop—especially if the weather gods are being kind. We sat outside under the arch (yes, that one), which added a touch of charm and made it feel more like a casual city escape than just another place to eat.

The atmosphere? Vibrant. Mostly because it was busy—not chaotic, but definitely not whisper-quiet either. Expect some hustle, which can be a good thing if you enjoy a bit of city buzz with your meal. It’s the kind of place where you hear snippets of five different languages and someone’s dog might be better dressed than you.

Food was... fine. Solid 7/10. Not bad, not life-changing, just reliable fuel. You're probably not going to dream about it later, but you also won't regret ordering it.

Staff were friendly enough but catching their attention sometimes felt like trying to flag down a taxi in the rain. Not rude, just spread a bit thin. Patience helps.

Very cozy and friendly atmosphere, appears people come here in groups to eat or by themselves. All seem welcome. The staff were very friendly and accommodating for our bar German, giving us English menus instead. Food was lovely, the sweet potato fries with garlic dip was DELICIOUS. We had the Currywurst special and the Körri special (rustica). The mint tequila cocktail was beautifully refreshing (I could have had hundreds!) Only things were we were seated by the door which was quite breezy and at the end when ready for the bill it took a little while to catch someone’s attention. But it did get busy, so that’s fine! We made a simple mistake of assuming that the water that was FOC. One of the waiters politely told us later that it wasn't, which was fine but the manager got extremely animated and short tempered.

I understand the original mistake was ours, but with no sign to say that it was only free for people having a meal rather than coffees it was an easy mistake to make. Unfortunately the manager should have and could have managed the situation better and it's regrettable that she didn't. We won't be back and...
