Probably the best Rosè Tteokbokki I've had in Germany so far. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant though small, feels pretty cozy.

The food overall tastes great, but I found the size of the portions to be pretty small. Even with the addition of extra Käse and Mandu to my order, the amount of food was still not a lot and wouldn't be able to fill me up had I been truly hungry. I still recommend trying the Rosè Tteokbokki though, the taste is amazing and I truly loved it.

The Korean Popcorn Chicken Jr. is said to come with rice cakes as well, but my order came with a single rice cake only. The chicken tasted great once again and I loved the honey chilli sauce, but the portion was simply too small when compared to how expensive this dish is. I wouldn't mind the portions being smaller if the price was a bit cheaper, but standing how it is I don't think I'd order the Chicken Jr. again. I'm not sure how the Popcorn Chicken King portion is, but it might be worth giving that a try instead of the Chicken Jr. since like I said, the chicken itself was great.

I love Korean food, but never had a Korean meal so delicious! I don't think I've ever had proper Korean food until this evening. You can tell the veggies were cooked separately, each having its own flavour and the meat is proper meat, not sheds and little bits. And the way they serve food, in these authentic bowls and dishes. Can't wait to go back and try some more food off their menu. I can say now I've tried proper Korean food (until I visit Korea) and I'll know what to look for when I go to another Korean restaurant. Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, das koreanische Restaurant Wagu Wagu zu besuchen und ich muss sagen, dass es eine wunderbare Erfahrung war. Von der Atmosphäre bis hin zum Essen war alles einfach erstklassig.

Als ich das Restaurant betrat, wurde ich von einem warmen und einladenden Ambiente begrüßt. Die traditionelle koreanische Einrichtung und das stimmungsvolle Licht schufen eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Personal war äußerst höflich und aufmerksam, und sie sorgten dafür, dass mein Besuch angenehm war.

Das Highlight des Abends war natürlich das Essen. Das Wagu Wagu bietet eine umfangreiche Auswahl an koreanischen Spezialitäten, und ich war begeistert von der Qualität der Gerichte. Ich begann mit den Mandu, den gedämpften Teigtaschen, gefüllt mit saftigem Fleisch und Gemüse. Sie waren perfekt zubereitet und hatten einen köstlichen Geschmack.

Als Hauptgang entschied ich mich für das Bulgogi, dünn geschnittenes Rindfleisch, das mit einer würzigen Marinade gegrillt wird. Das Fleisch war zart und saftig, und die Marinade hatte genau die richtige Menge an Gewürzen. Dazu wurde eine Vielzahl von Beilagen serviert, darunter Kimchi und eingelegtes Gemüse, die die Mahlzeit perfekt ergänzten.

Auch die Getränkeauswahl im Wagu Wagu war beeindruckend. Ich probierte den traditionellen koreanischen Reiswein Makgeolli und war von seinem einzigartigen Geschmack begeistert.

Das Personal war während des gesamten Abends sehr aufmerksam und sorgte dafür, dass es mir an nichts fehlte. Sie waren auch bereit, Empfehlungen auszusprechen und Fragen zu beantworten, was meine Erfahrung noch angenehmer machte.

Insgesamt war mein Besuch im Wagu Wagu eine fantastische kulinarische Reise.
