Pâtisserie Elysée | Hannover - Joachimstraße — Restaurant in Hanover

I don't know how to start this, lets begin with the 2 stars: gave them because the staff deserve a good rating, they were extremely nice. Now we should talk about food, well I had one of the most terrible millefeuille in my life. For real, you can not call that a millefeuille. It's an insult to the French pastry:it had almost no cream, extremely dry so basically you can taste only the puff pastry. Who am I to judge, it is true I have no certificate or whatever but I can tell the difference between the millefeuille I had in paris last week from a normal ( not fancy ) bakery and this thing called also millefeuille. Had a croissant and a coffee... Tbh nothing special. Nothing against this patisserie but please fix that...

The Patissere Elysee is a great French patisserie with lots of different, delectable pastries to choose from. The quality of the cakes and pastries offered here is marvelous. Both the presentation and taste are impeccable. They offer signature mousse cakes and little cake pieces, croissants, pastries, as well as Macarons and a small selection of chocolates. The only downside to this cafe is the pricetag of some of their products. Even though their food is great, I am not sure it warrants the, in some instances, exorbitant prices. I cannot tell how much of it is the need to cover the rising costs and how much is due to...

Die Pâtisserie Elysée ist ein ziemlich kleines französisches Café. Es besticht durch seine kleinen, aber feinen Süßspeisen. Das Ambiente ist, bedingt durch all die bunten Kuchen, welche in der Auslage gut zu sehen sind, sehr angenehm und lassen denn Gaumen schon vor dem bestellen vor Freude singen. Wir waren zu 5t vor Ort und ich bin dankbar diesen Moment erlebt zu haben. Mein kleines Törtchen war wirklich etwas besonderes. Das kleine Törtchen (etwa 6cm im Durchmesser und ebenso hoch) wurde auf einem goldenen Papptellerchen an den Tisch gebracht. Fein verziert und geschmacklich etwas besonderes. Je besser es mir schmeckt umso länger brauche ich zum essen und ein Blick auf die Uhr hat gezeigt das eine Stunde vergangen ist. Die Preise sind jedoch wirklich hoch und jeder Besucher sollte sich im klaren sein das es kein normales Bäckerei Café ist. Wer mag kann auch im Außenbereich sitzen, aber da fehlt das komplette Ambiente.

Mein Fazit: Dieses Café ist definitiv einen Besuch wert. Die Preise sind jedoch nicht in der gleichen Liga, wie ein Besuch eines anderen Cafés. Dafür findet man aber Süßspeisen, welche den Gaumen zum Strahlen bringen. Würde dieses Café nur bewusst besuchen und genug Zeit einplanen.
