Very decent quality Italian restaurant with reasonable pricing and large portion sizes. As an Asian, I do think that the dishes are large enough to share for 2, but you have locals devouring these pizzas single-handedly. Pizzas are highly recommended, they are huge and you are also able to split flavours by half&half. They are the authentic type of thin crust pizzas. Pastas on their own are filling as well. Both the lasagna and Bolognese pasta were pretty good. Carbonara was rich, creamy and strong cheesy flavour, but may be a little overwhelming for one person to eat it whole. There is a semi-open kitchen where you can see the chefs prepare the pizzas. From the looks of it, the pizzas do look to be prepared fresh from scratch, hence the slightly long prep time. Kudos to them, you don't see that quality of standard that often.

Pizzas were HUGE and light, the pizzaioli were making lots of tricks and mini nice shows behind the kitchen glass. Very loud place but service was ready to fix small misunderstandings in a very kind way, nice! We also wait more than 30 mins but is understandable by seeing the looong list of orders hanging on the shelf in the kitchen. My pizza al prosciutto crudo had a very cheap type of prosciutto on it, also the other pizza were well made but with mediocre/cheap ingredients, I guess works well for the financials It's better than the usual pizzeria you find in germany but still if you from Italy you'll find yourself making the cross sign 🤣 P.s. they kindly accepted our two golden retrievers but no bowl of water :( maybe we should have just ask for it

Pros: Easy to find, and they quickly put our party of 6 at a table (even though we did not have a reservation)

Cons: Pizza was wretched. Not sliced, luke warm, barely any cheese, pineapple, or ham ("Hawaiian" type), and served 10 minutes before the food for the rest of the party (who ordered pasta).

Music is way too loud, even in the back of the restaurant where they sat us (next to the pizza kitchen).

The service was good when the waitress was available. Which was mostly NEVER. We sat down and they ignored us for at least 15 minutes. We had to go look for someone to take our order. After we finished our meal, during which we were never asked if we needed more water (we did), we were ignored for almost 30 minutes before we finally had to go look for someone -- again! -- to ask for our bill.

We were neglected, and felt isolated from the rest of the diners in the front of the restaurant.

Disappointing to say the least. The best part was getting the hell...

A disaster. We went to this place to have dinner after a day touristing in Heidelberg. The place was busy but not full. We ordered drinks and food and the we waited, and waited, and waited. The staff were working hard but people came and left before having ordered because no one got to their table to take the order. People had drinks served and then left because their food never arrived. After about an hour, and after several times talking to the staff reminding them, our food finally arrived. I had an extra drink ordered that sat on the bar on a tray for 20 minutes. After reminding the staff twice it eventually got served. 25 minutes after I ordered it. Food was ok. Pizzas were big but nothing above average except the size. Pasta was not that great and we had to talk to the staff to make it right. We were offered free deserts as compensation but nothing more. All in all a not so great ending to a...
