Hidden gem, on a rowdy street.

Nicely decorated, polite staff (especially Daria), and excellent food!

Located on a street that isn’t very appealing, but once you step inside the restaurant you forget the outside atmosphere.

Tried the following based on the waitress recommendation:

Mantu dumplings with ground beef and onions inside, covered with a sauce this was delicious

Gegrillte gehacte Lammspiess-Chalau spicy lamb skewer with okra not very spicy, just enough so you can taste it absolutely delicious!!

Naan Bread not like Indian naan bread this one is lighter and the sesame adds an amazing flavour

Absolutely loved this restaurant and I highly...

If you are looking for food that will stay in your memory, then bring all your friends and come to enjoy the cooking of the “ aunt” who amazingly will put a home cooked meal in your tummy. The Manto and the Veal rice is made with love. My nice server Milad offered me a nice cream with Pistachio as a courtesy, as I wasn’t able to order a big portion of desert. Milad is so proud that PIVSSTA is connecting Afghanistan to Germany . Food is a love language, only those who appreciate different cultures will always be able to see beyond the dish that they had :) … are you still ready? GO...

It seems like most of the reviews are fake because food was super bland and had no afghani authenticity; the same can be said of the server who had zero sense of hospitality. Took forever to get water (twice) and he took orders of the couple sitting next to us when clearly we were in first and had already requested to take the order. He literally said I’ll be back and went to the order table to take the orders within seconds. It seemed like they preferred to serve the Whites first....

We had a wonderful, first experience with Afghani food. It's a lovely family restaurant with recipes from the mother of the waiter. There was a surprising mix of different tastes which satisfies all senses. We liked in particular Ashak (starter), Dai-Chalau and Lamm Tekka Kabab Chalau (main course). We totally loved Firni for dessert and Dogh for drink. The service was fantastic. I can't wait to try another Afghani restaurant, just hoping it would be the same.
