AIVI Eatery - Sushi Restaurant — Restaurant in Munich

First and foremost- the food was really very good. It was unfortunate that the service ruined the experience slightly. I made a reservation for 3. I needed to confirm that we were coming a day before. When we got to the restaurant, the table was not set and one single menu was thrown at us. When I asked for more, the waiter was extremely rude about them not having more.

In order to get food, we needed to hunt down the waiter. We also ordered a bottle of white wine that was not cold. When our starters arrived, we did not have any utensils and I needed to get up and ask for them. Again, a rude response. Once we finished our food, the table was not cleared for about 45 minutes. We actually wanted to order dessert, but since no one paid attention to us, we ended up just asking for the bill. Honestly, it was a shame because the chef is obviously working really hard to deliver great food, but the wait staff is untrained, rude and just a disaster.

We had diner for first time in AIVI and it was spectacular. We ordered a few starters and they flew out of the table by the moment they arrived, everything was delicious.

Regarding the main dishes nothing to regret. We orderer sushi for two and it was quite a lot of food (thankfully because we ordered for three).

The service is perfect, we had a problem with one of the dishes, but it was immediately solved. One of us couldn’t eat anything spicy because of allergies and they offered to replaced and even insisted if we needed anything special to get over the situation.

We really had a very good night time there, it’s a 10/10 recommendation. Food is well served, always warm, and...

The interior is very appealing and definitely makes you linger longer - 5 stars for that!

The menu makes your mouth water, but unfortunately does not deliver what it promises.

I had the Summer Rolls and only tasted the - admittedly really fresh - salad. I was definitely missing spices or a zesty dressing. For my main course, I chose the Bun Bowl with avocado and shrimps and had the same experience - too much greens, too little dressing/spices.

Too bad! I hope the kitchen works on this, because the menu ideas...
