Bar-i-Centro — Restaurant in Munich

To be honest I'm not sure about the food. We ended up not ordering food after ordering something to drink and the staff being very rude to me and my friend. They were so unfriendly that we decided to take our coffee and chocolate milk to go. When my friend asked for sugar for her coffee, the waiter made an exasperated sigh, when she asked for a spoon his first response was to tell her she couldn't take it. We were standing at the bar... I also had to ask for a spoon we asked for a spoon as my chocolate milk had clumps of powder and the first response was a " Nein". At first I thought the guy must be joking as I couldn't imagine such a bad service after a friendly request. After explaining why I need the spoon I finally convinced the guy behind the bar to "lend" me one, again with the clear instructions that I couldn't take it with me.

All in all, the worst service experience I've ever had in München. It seems they are very selective of their customers. If you're not a German that looks like you have money, I...

Incredible experience this evening at Bar-i-Centro.

German customer service is a work in progress, but it's moved on from such experiences my young daughter and I had tonight.

Being told by the waiter to get up and read the scribbled chalkboard menu at the other end of the restaurant, ourselves; then upon saying we will find somewhere else, the retort, "Well, I think that’s for the best too", demonstrates Bar-i-Centro is a long way behind.

What a shame and unnecessary way to...

Today at 7pm I wanted to sit there and have a drink outside, one or two Aperols . Staff did not let me , they said all tables are foreseen for the meal, meaning if I am not going to order food, I can not sit there .

I don’t know if it’s normal here in Munich , but definitely not normal for me , who is used to be treated...
