The pizza was great. But two major factors made the experience slightly unpleasant. I asked for the glas of standard house white wine and I got a glas for 13,60€ when the house wine was priced for approx 6€. Of course I realized it only after we payed and left - and here comes the next major factor. The service took incredibly long. Food took about 45 mins to arrive, and all the pizzas were served separately so we couldn’t eat all together - there were only 4 of us at the table. The waitresses answer to every question or request was “don’t you see that I’m busy”. So 20 min after we asked for the check we were running late for our next appointment and rushed through the payment. And after all this waiting and asking, asking and waiting - we were still charged for the limoncello - 4,20€ per serving.

I used to be a longstanding happy client of La pizza but I went back and it was a true disaster. First, the pizza was completely burned and the waiter when I told him just said I should have said it earlier. When it arrived at the table it was even a bit cold. I would have said it earlier but the place was invaded by people who were standing in the restaurants, with the situation completely out of control. In addition, the waiters didn’t even do the effort to have a small deduction as a sign of goodwill on their mistakes. This forced me to not leave any tips (I guess it’s the first time) I think the ownership changed as there were no Italians waiters there and this has unfortunately affected the service as well as quality. I won’t be back. There are much better Neapolitan pizzerias in Munich!!

Ambience: not something super amazing Price: I would say it is expensive then most pizzeria in Munich Location: quite central, it is nice Food: Pizza was good but it was burnt from the bottom. Service: Not super happy, they took too much time take order, we super unhappy when we asked them to give us cut pizza. Super strange the waitress took extra tip on her own. The bill was 27, I told her 30 and I didn’t check as I trusted her but he deducted 33 euros. So, found unethical. Value for money: I would not say so. Would not recommend people to go there.

OVERPRICED/Not worth your time and money (2 out of 5 stars)

SERVICE: You should come with time and a lot of patience. There is only one waitress that does a lot of effort to keep it going, but it is just too much for one person to handle. And then another person that seems to focus on administrative things and does not help much. As an example, after you sit, you can probably expect 15 minutes for someone to come to collect your order and another 20 that you will probably stay waiting just for the water to arrive. ATMOSPHERE: It is a nice ambience, very Italian and very noisy. One big shared table and a few small tables. Make sure to make a reservation for small tables beforehand. FOOD: The food is definitely overpriced. To keep this review honest, I have tried 3 flavours of pizza: the (1) truffle, (2) caprese and (3) 4 fromage. The (1) was the worst truffle pizza I have ever had, it tasted like nothing, and it was mixed with other seasoning that basically took away all the truffle taste. (2) came as a plain pizza without any base sauce, and tomatoes and buffala on top, you could have it at home to be honest. Olive oil came in handy to make it less dry. (3) it did taste only 2 cheeses and it was severely watery, also one of the worst 4 fromage pizzas I have ever tasted. I would definitely revisit the concept of the pizzas of this restaurant given that it is the "main course". The desserts are very nice and worth the money, unfortunately we don't come to an Italian that costs around 17-20 euros per pizza just...

Would love to give 5 stars as it is a a authentic Italian atmosphere. Excellent pizza (and I am a pizza expert) with fresh high quality ingredients, melting dough but cooked ! Honestly, I savoured every tiny bit. Tasty and well worth the price.. Unfortunate that the service can be as warm as indelicate... I gave the waiter exactly 15.90€ (with one bill of ten and one of five and coins) for a 13.90€ order, he thanks me... And i am kindly awaiting for the change... After a while I kindly ask for i. He gave me a angry look and vey unpleasantly tell me that s a tip, then almost throwing me the coin. Should he have apologized for mistaking the change for a tip or kindly explain to me that it is custom to tip, I would not have taken my money... But considering his bad manner I thought I did not want to left one euro more than necessary in his pocket (noting there no reason to tip for the service either I was put at the corner edge of a table, with merely any space and he forgot to give me any tub water and I had to asked three times to get the bill). Pizzas are really good. The service was super slow for a pizza place, even a caprese salad took more than 20 minutes. The waiter was grumpy with everything but they seemed to be having an argument with the owner.

The wine selection is amazing but a bit over the top. You'd expect this from a fancy restaurant but the place is not made to look or feel like a fancy pizzeria. A more down to earth wine selection would make more sense and would make them more affordable. Cheapest wine was 50 euros a bottle...

The basil sorbet is something else, definitely a must. Tiramusu is meh and overpriced. The other deserts seemed to be not self made. We were sitting next to kitchen and they just took them out of boxes that seem to come from a nice pastry shop. Still I find it weird for a restaurant.
