Finnegan's Harp Irish Pub — Restaurant in Nuremberg

Had to edit, so we came in on Monday June 5th. Came in last night there was 6 of us. Sat at a table in the corner, one of the bar tenders I'm assuming waited on us and was joking with us had a great time at first. Until the last 2 times he came to our table, he was cussing and extremely rude to us. He came back for our bill cussed the entire time made us uncomfortable and stated he wasn't splitting our bill for us we needed to figure it out. He said you arent 16 year olds figure it out. Meanwhile i saw him giving other tables separate checks before us. My husband asked for another beer he said no that he was done with us. We gave cash for our bill wouldn't even take our tip we left. Overall terrible experience I don't recommend coming here. We will be avoiding this place for the rest of the time we are here. My sister in law who is born and raise in Nuremberg has never had this issue when she came before. This bar was the absolute best I visited! They have a great building, a hospitable, English speaking staff, and clean restrooms.

The beer and alcohol was excellent, though I would get yourself into imagining it is something beyond what you can get in the U.S. I've tasted a great deal of beer in my life, and what I will say as that I didn't find any beer there I didn't like.

They also have a great choice of food to eat, and I was impressed! I ordered lunch and dinner here, and was more than satisfied both times.

I'm sure all the locals know of this bar, but if you guys don't know about it, and you live in Nuremberg, shame on you! Get over there and become a patron of this amazing local bar! If you are visiting or in duty with the military like I was, get off base asap and hit this joint!

There we were roaming around on a Monday late afternoon after a very long exhausting journey. We just wanted a place to sit and have a breather when we walked into Finnegan's. However, we got that and more. We immediately relaxed thanks to the cozy atmosphere and John, one of the staff who not only served us our drinks but also fun and wit... made us feel right at home. Not just him, the whole staff of Finnegan's are absolutely brilliant, professional and accommodative. The food is great, the location very convenient, you can watch the games there and maybe if lucky, will run into a a pot of gold ;). Absolutely recommend it...
