My Hao Vietnamese Vegan Cuisine — Restaurant in Nuremberg

This place is not worth visiting. The two female staff working in the afternoon were extremely rude. When you look at them, they immediately avert their eyes with an annoyed expression, as if they’re already irritated by the thought of a customer asking for something. The slim staff member with heavy makeup didn’t even say “Excuse me” or explain the name of the dish when serving food. She just suddenly came, dropped the food on the table, and walked away. Later, I asked the second, fat staff member if they had spicy Vietnamese chili. She frowned and silently pointed to the chili oil without saying a word. That’s not what I was asking for. The staff never checked on our table until we finished our meal. If their English skills are poor, they should at least try to be polite, but the staff here are not only bad at English but also incredibly arrogant. I’ve traveled to Vietnam before, and it was the worst destination I’ve ever been to. The lack of basic manners and poor civic awareness in Vietnam left a terrible impression on me. Today confirmed it for me Vietnamese culture is consistent, even in this restaurant. There is not a single exaggeration in my review. To make matters worse, the food here isn’t even good. I'm skeptical of the friendly reviews. The staff here are incredibly rude. I have traveled and dined in many European countries, but I’ve never encountered a place as rude as this. I can speak a little Vietnamese, and the two servers were making negative comments about the customers. It was an uncomfortable experience throughout the meal.

Their behavior was also unhygienic—one of them was scratching her head and cutting limes at the same time. Shockingly, all of this happened during a visit of less than an hour. To top it off, one of them used profanity as she watched us leave.

Don’t assume that all foreigners can’t understand your language. I felt sorry for the other tourists in the restaurant. I would never recommend this...

I must say this whole place seems a little dodgy to me. I am pretty sure that they overcharged us on purpose and when we asked to see the detailed bill they said they couldn't get it, because someone else has the key to the system. Also previously I had forgotten something there and when I asked whether it was found they answered immediately, without hesitation "No, nothing found, I am absolutely certain." without checking anywhere or asking anyone else. Food was OK, although I don't think they have a firm grasp on the meaning of "vegan". I highly doubt the ice-cream mochi or the whipped cream served with it was vegan.
