Unable to be seated at other restaurants due to not having a reservation, stumbled across Rehorik 190 ° in hopes that some brunch could be enjoyed and get to get a morning coffee fix. Pleasantly surprised when offered to sit in the coffee roastery room due to no seating in the main area, which was set up upon confirmation. It ended up being a romantic little coffee haven, along with a little bit of history, coffee, good food and a bit more privacy and quieter then in the main area. The temporary accommodation and service alone was fantastic and unheard of for most busy restaurants in my experience.
Undoubtedly, my taste buds were also taken away. Enjoyed was the Hummus Stulle and Armer Ritter, so if your looking for a salty or sweet option, I'd recommended them both. And of course, please try the coffee. You have options of how you'd like your coffee prepared, we chose to try normal filter coffee, cappuccino and a flat white. Definitely wasn't disappointed, by our visit. You can also buy a bag of fresh beans on your way out...
Read moreVisited about a month ago and finally posting a review. I think about this little cafe often, now that I am back in the states. It was very charming. The coffee roaster invited me to see the antique ball roaster from the 1920s which is still in use. The staff talked with me and gave me recommendations, not only about what to eat and drink but also where to travel in Germany. Very pleasant and jovial staff who take pride in making this exceptional coffee. Its a real gem of a place, a real labor of love.... Back in Denver, I wanted to recreate this experience so I went to a local roaster. The roaster had headphones on and was detached. Every person in the cafe was on a laptop or cellphone in their own world, uninterested in chatting....Go here if you really love coffee and want to...
Read more"Rehorik" is a particularly interesting coffee house: the interior is tastefully decorated, you can see various coffee roasting and grinding machines, and the outdoor terrace is a pleasant surprise. The service is impeccable. I can't rate much of the products sold by "Rehorik" because I only had a pretty good espresso. (Like the Italian one from the South we can't find anywhere, but it was still OK). Prices are not exactly low. A nearby car park is in Dachauplaz. I will come back with impressions after I buy other products sold...
