Vasilakis — Restaurant in Municipality of Ancient Olympia

After searching with little luck for somewhere to eat, a little sign guided my friends and I to the hidden gem that is Vasilakis. I'll be honest I went in with low expectations but I was proven wrong in every way, the staff was kind friendly and upbeat, the food was very affordably prices with a nice selection of Greek dishes and variety of souvlaki and pita options. I ordered the kebab souvlaki and my friends enjoyed the pork souvlaki, the portion was the perfect amount to satisfy our craving while tasting amazing. The kebab meat was succulent and flavourful with every bite leaving me wanting more.

A testament to the greatness of Vasilakis is the fact that my friends and returned not once but twice more, a total of three times, in 24 hours, only staying in Olympia for two nights we happily chose to dine here for both dinners and our lunch and even brought along friends on the last night who likewise enjoyed their meals. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming little Greek gem in Olympia, and let me tell you, it's genuinely the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at! I usually don't leave reviews, but this place truly deserves one. From the moment we were bathed in the light of the Vasilakis sign, we were greeted with the warmest hospitality. The food was simply divine. So much so that my friends and I found ourselves returning not once, not twice, but three times in just 24 hours! That's how irresistible it was. If you find yourself in Olympia, do yourself a favour and make a beeline for this heavenly spot – you won't regret it! This place is amazing. We liked it very much. The Greek food is not about frills or thrills, it's good when it's served plain and simple. They also have a nice addition of regular 'used to' foods like club sandwich, toast and others. Very nice addition. We dined here one evening by mistake and we liked it so much, we cam back the next day for lunch. I highly recommend this place to eat...
