Deck food, sushi & spirits — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

One word to describe this place? WOW. Me and my partner were strolling through Chania looking for somewhere to eat, took one look at the menu for this place and saw they did sushi, so we had to try it out being big sushi lovers. The owner was very welcoming and friendly and so we asked him what he recommended from the sushi menu, we ordered the recommended - Salmon Teriyaki and the Sensei Roll. When it came to the table we were blown away - the most beautifully layed out meal I have ever seen and my god it tasted incredible, the best looking and tasting sushi in the most warming and comfortable atmosphere possible. Highly recommend this place not only for the sushi but the other meals too as it all looked incredible coming out the kitchen.. I found this place on the way back to our accommodation after seeing people smoking shisha. We sat and ordered one, besides the shisha, we ordered a bottle of water. The waitress told us that wasn't enough and that we need to order something else, some drink. I told her that we ordered water, I didn't want to drink anything else besides that. She continued pushing us to order more. I never had such an experience before, it was late, me and my gf had dinner already and were satisfied, we only wanted to smoke a shisha. In the end, we ordered a fresh juice and a tea, these two were enough for her to leave us alone.

Besides that crazy experience, the shisha guy was very polite. And the shisha was incredible :) I would go back there only because of the shisha, it's very good. I'm giving two starts because of the waitress's...

Deck restaurant made my vacation in Chania special and memorable. All of the restos around are jampacked with Tourists and i am starving after a whole day of touring Balos and other Beaches, Deck managed to prepare a special table for me which is really kind of them. Staff were the friendliest and accommodating. I had the Best chocolate cake and seafood pasta here. I will never forget this Restaurant Cafe. I was treated like a Queen when i was there. I will keep coming back to Chania because of this Restaurant and Staff.
