The Chop Street Food — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

Want to chop from a recommendation from a friend.i ordered a chicken wrap/ souvlaki.my wife a beef burger and a serving of fries.when our food came tge fries were cold and when we complained the waitress said I have to throw them we said ok.she brought a second serving. But the were precooked and warmed up in a micro wave couldn't eat them.thats nor such a problem their just fries but the beef burger and chicken wrap .the meat was tasty the bits i could taste. but they were both smothered in sauces. Which killed the taste of the food .the people sitting next to us said the same thing.and when we asked for more serviettes.we were dire Ted to the toilet ti get paper.very disappointed and regret having gone there.it is a good shop but please easy on the sauces and don't precook your food ....

Real shame as we had read the reviews and headed there 15 .09.2023 in the evening bought 2 bottles of water and was going to order etc young girl that served us was rude and mocked myself and my elderly mum as did the 2 men behind her that were cooking. Mimicking what I said and what i can only describe as sniggering it was so uncomfortable and unnecessary suffice to say we didn't order food and left my mum is 71 and we are easy going and have been to Chania several times and every other food outlet/restaurant has always been lovely and welcoming...

Lunch time, the chop is the choice of today.. street food, nice prices, around 7-8 euros per person.. we order the beef burger, pork pancetta with fries and fries with cheese, special mayo , fried onion and again small pieces of pancetta. Generally all were tasty but when you ask the customers how to make the burger, it is good to follow it.. definitely it wasn't medium the patty of the burger but it was tasty.

We will definitely visit it again to taste the gyros and the other...
