I had the opportunity to try the '5 set course menu' as part of the all-inclusive option at the nearby High Beach Hotel. I'm glad I didn't have to pay as the dishes were below average and no different to the hotel kitchen. They were low standard restaurant course - not a fine-dining experiance at all. I was served exactly the same soup that was for lunch in the hotel canteen this day. The same salad that I was served was for the next day for all guests. Moreover, I was not informed by staff that I would have to pay 26 euros at check-out for the wine, which is free in the hotel canteen. The food here was DISGUSTING. The view was SPECTACULAR, however. If you want to come here, come to take a picture, but if you want to eat, the McDonald’s down the street was better than the food served. My dad ordered lamb and they gave him a literally bone. The side vegetables were so mushy it could be baby food. I had to spit it out in my napkin. The octopus and Greek salad were also terrible. Wir haben zu viert dort gegessen und waren insgesamt unzufrieden. Die Salate waren zunächst wirklich lecker. Der Hauptgang war jedoch nicht zufriedenstellend: die Shrimps waren nicht ganz gar, der Lachs war absolut drüber und trocken, das Rump Steak für 29,50€ war minderer Qualität, zu unserem neuen Bier gab es kein neues Glas, zum Steak kein vernünftiges Messer, nach den Shrimps, die man trotz stolzen Preis selbst schälen musste, kein Erfrischungstuch. Zudem wurden die Speisen verzögert serviert. Hoch anrechnen muss man, dass wir eine Portion nicht bezahlen mussten und einen Nachtisch gratis bekamen. Die Bedienung sprach sehr sehr schlecht Englisch, war aber stets freundlich. Der Chef sprach uns trotz der Beschwerde nicht an und die Bedienung konnte sich leider nicht dazu äußern - sehr schade!
