Nick's Restaurant beach Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

We decided to give Nicks a try as the TripAdvisor reviews were so excellent. Sadly, we were greatly disappointed. Surprisingly based on reviews when we arrived the place was empty except for one family obviously known to the owners As we were in Greece we always eat Greek and I have always loved Stifado unfortunately it just seemed like a slightly tough stew with a rather bland flavours hardly any onion in it with black carbon bits from where it had obviously burnt the pan. My partner had the mixed seafood platter unfortunately most of it dry and overcooked and swimming in grease much of which she ended up leaving.

However on the good side I must say the Tzatziki was some of the best I have ever tasted and the home made garlic bread was divine.

I can only assume the chef was having a bad day based on the other great reviews. We both intended to return to give Nick's to give it another chance but there are so many first class Greek eateries on the island we never got round to it. A great shame

The service was very good thoughtful and kind with no long waits and we also were treated too some items on the house at the end of our meal this was apple slices with sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon and a shot of some spirit. Though it was a nice gesture to finishing the meal and I don't want to seem ungrateful but to be honest I would rather have had the quality of meal that this restaurant has supposedly been so...

Best cozy, friendliest beach bar with good prices you could go to on Kos.

After we found Nick‘s Beach Bar and Restaurant we didn’t go to any other ones. Nick is a super friendly generous man and his place is clean, has sand, free sunbeds, a shower and parasols. The toilets are clean and pretty. You can drink cocktails, milkshakes, beer and a lot more. You can also eat anything from a little snack to a whole awesome Greek meal. The atmosphere is chill, the music is pleasant, the staff friendly and the portions big. You can also borrow Pool floaties like air mattresses for free! We Recommend everyone coming here. Our feet took us into this beach restaurant incidentally. We loved the food, the service, the staff and the beach very much. Especially Gordana, Nick's daughter in low. She is wonderful. For dinner, we asked a suggestion for a good seafood restaurant in our hotel and they suggested us Nick's Beach restaurant :) We went again for dinner and left very happy after eating delicious seafood dishes. I strongly recommend their grilled ochtopus. The next and our last day in the island, somehow we found ourselves there again, having a wonderful time. Do not look for another place...
