Really unfortunate that the service takes away from this restaurant. There was a really aggressive staff member who made me very uncomfortable in the restaurant. I went to use the toilet and he was standing outside. I asked if he wanted to go ahead to which he responded “Its in here”. I asked again if he wanted to use it and he quite aggressively said “I work here” and stared at me. It was one of those situations whereby I felt it could escalate had I said anything further due to the way he responded. It was undoubtedly a miscommunication but the way he responed was so aggressive. Our waiter didn’t make things much better. He ignored us throughout the night instead trying to charm the Americans beside us asking how long they were together and how he couldn’t hold down a relationship as long as they could. It was an embarrassing attempt to try and get a tip from them. Not once were we asked if we wanted anything else or if the food was good. The food was great but we would not eat here again despite us being here for a few more nights. I’m sure not all staff are like the two we encountered but they really made the night an uncomfortable one.
