Tasty food but ruined by the worst customer service I've experienced in Mykonos. From the very beginning with the moody hostess in beige who looked like she was being forced to work there at gun point. To being seated and left unattended for so long to the point I had to get up and get our own menus. Between 2 of us, we ordered a salad (not a side salad, a main salad) and a pasta. Our salad come and for about 10 mins we waited for the pasta. I asked a waiter and he said that WE should have told the other waiter that we wanted both at the same time. Implying it was our fault that we ordered a MAIN salad. He said most people have salad as a starter. Im sorry mate, we ordered 2 mains and he shouldn't have assumed that we wanted one before the other. Plus the waiter never even asked us. He came back with the pasta and basically slammed it on the table looking pissed off. Made us so uncomfortable. Not one waiter came to check our food was okay or offer desert menu when we had finished. Nothing. Just left there. Trying to catch a waiters attention for the bill proved a challenge also. Absolutely horrible service. Their staff clearly hate their job...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at the D'Angelo Restaurant during my recent visit to Mykonos, and it was an absolute delight! The food here is simply exceptional. Choosing this restaurant to have my birthday dinner with my partner and family in Mykonos was definitely the right choice!
The menu boasts a fantastic selection of Mediterranean dishes. I couldn't resist trying one of the many delicious sounding pastas on the menu. The freshness of the ingredients was amazing and it was truely divine.
What truly sets D'Angelo apart from other restaurants in Mykonos is the value for money. In Mykonos, where dining out can be expensive, D'Angelo offers a top-notch culinary experience at a reasonable price. When you compare the quality of their food to some of the nearby restaurants in Mykonos Town, it's clear that D'Angelo not only stands out but also provides excellent value.
The ambiance of the restaurant is charming, and the staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.
I can't recommend D'Angelo enough. If you want a memorable dining experience in Mykonos, look no further. You won't be...
Read moreReally unfortunate that the service takes away from this restaurant. There was a really aggressive staff member who made me very uncomfortable in the restaurant. I went to use the toilet and he was standing outside. I asked if he wanted to go ahead to which he responded “Its in here”. I asked again if he wanted to use it and he quite aggressively said “I work here” and stared at me. It was one of those situations whereby I felt it could escalate had I said anything further due to the way he responded. It was undoubtedly a miscommunication but the way he responed was so aggressive. Our waiter didn’t make things much better. He ignored us throughout the night instead trying to charm the Americans beside us asking how long they were together and how he couldn’t hold down a relationship as long as they could. It was an embarrassing attempt to try and get a tip from them. Not once were we asked if we wanted anything else or if the food was good. The food was great but we would not eat here again despite us being here for a few more nights. I’m sure not all staff are like the two we encountered but they really made the night an...
